9 AM.
Right on schedule, Aiko's beaten down Stereo-Alarm Clock boomed out some overplayed Hero Pattern song.
"Alright, thats enough," She muttered sleepily, her fingers finding the well memorized "off" Button.
The music stopped abruptly, and the disheveled girl turned onto her side to get some more rest, but sunlight was already streaming into the open window, and sleep didn't come easily.
Abandoning this idea, she kicked back the covers and slid out of bed, rubbing her eyes.
She passed a few fingers through her currently-ginger hair unconciously.
After a few moments of peering around blearily with sleepy blue eyes, She plucked a towel from the top of the dresser and went to the bathroom to take a quick hot shower.

Once squeaky clean, and slightly more awake [though still yawning], She stepped out, wrapped her towel around herself, and made her way to the kitchen to turn the stove on. She placed a pot of water on the stove and emptied the little amount of rice left in its container into the pot.
"Looks like I'll have to go food-shopping today." She sighed, throwing the cardboard container out.
She headed back to her room to get dressed.
Shivering slightly, she pulled on a pair of ecru(light light brown/dark beige)-colored shorts. and a cotton, ivory hoodie that could be pulled down passed her hips, like an extremely short dress. It nearly covered the shorts from view.
She zipped the hoodie up enough to cover herself appropriately. A dogtag and a silver teddybear hung from chains around her neck.
It wasn't typically "Ninja" wear, but she wasn't on duty today, so there wouldn't be much of a problem.

A few hours later, after a plain breakfast of miso and rice, and a boring news report, she was out of her small apartment and on the streets, grocery list in hand.
She was standing, unfocused on her surounding environment trying to determine if the shopping list said to buy "Lecks" or "Leeks."
Therefore, it was understandable that she nearly fell over in alarm when someone poked her in the back.
"GYAH!"
Aiko yelled, attempting to move away from the poker and spin around to see who it was at the same time. The result? faceplanting in the dirt.

"Aren't shinobi supposed to not get caught from behind? Isn't that a basic rule?" she thought, still face down in the dirt.
"Yeah, thanks, I'm fine." She said, hoisting herself up so that she was on all fours, and then popping back up again. She brushed the dust off her ivory hoodie, smoothed her gingery/orange hair and glared at her "attacker".
"That wasn't very nice, you know. You scared the crap outta me. "

"Show off" She muttered absently, looking around. Aiko always had bad sense of direction. She was quite capable of locating objects, places, and people by using some sort of techinique, but it was too much effort for such small of a result. "Meh, not all Anbu sneak up on me like that. Anyway, do you know the best place to buy rice from? I haven't lived here too long..."
