Anyone jumped an amazing course in a show?Or ridden any neat or challenging dressage tests? Just post it here, preferrably with a diagram for others to follow! Hooray for sharing! Or seen a really cool cross country jump-design? All the canadian FEI dressage tests ones are located here for anyone who is interested Dressage Canada

this was my FAVORIT jumping course that ive ever done! it was at a show this last summer and i think it was 2'3, small, but so fun. i love tricky turns, mostly becuase my mare loves jumpers, and shes really soft during the course and goes to the jumps just right with a bounce in her step, haha, i guess its better when the horse really likes it too! she turns so well, all i have to do is put a tiny bit of weight in the stirrup and shell do her changes over fences (hahaha! great for the horse without flying changes! haha)

That does look like a lot of fun! When I get the chance I'm going to try that. 3nodding
At my show on Sunday they did have a rather odd 4 jump course. o.o;... It had you going every which direction in a very small arena. >.< Maybe that's why it seemed harder than it looked; because of the small space we had to manuever in. Oh well, lol. I'll see about making a diagram of it some time or some of the one's we do during team practice. xd

lol, warning, if u dont have a really schooled horse, that oxer and broken line to a skinny, taught SO many horses to run out that day! haha. but it was super fun, i want to try a water jump some day, my horse did eventing when she was younger (jumped in and out and over water) and i think that would be so much fun. our saddle club here is actually talking about using this open field nest to the agriculture grounds to make a really good jump course. im so excited. ive never jumped on grass before smile

Especially if it is just after a spread jump. LOL There was one at Upperville one year that was a very short spread with a liverpool, and the whole thing was very narrow... Out of 35 or more horses, I think only 4 or 5 got over that one on first try!

I finally was able to do some of the jump courses I've recently done. They were done on MS Paint and deffinitely are not good quality, lol. This is the jump course we did at MerryMount, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The course was done in a small arena which made it harder because you had to use your space very well. I mean, it was so small I'm surprised they fit all the jumps in there. o_O Anyways, that's it. This is just a simple course we've done at practice recently. It says "Trot off" under the "H", just incase you can't see it, lol. This is just another simple course we've done at practice. The third jump (the blue one) is set to more of an angle. Like the one below. Sorry, for the poor quality. Ms Paint and I just don't get along, lol. sweatdrop If you have any questions let me know.

She's just getting started...sort of...

Groovy Spleen Anyone jumped an amazing course in a show?Or ridden any neat or challenging dressage tests? Just post it here, preferrably with a diagram for others to follow! Hooray for sharing! Or seen a really cool cross country jump-design? All the canadian FEI dressage tests ones are located here for anyone who is interested Dressage Canadayay! Canadian! well, obviously, the recent olympic courses and tests were amazing. The cross country was the most challenging thing EVER!! I LOVED the dressage test too. (btw, if you watched equestrian on cbc, one of the commentators, Cara, the british one, ya, i've worked for her at a dressage show, (during the olympics, she was tired) ya, she was aswume) But ya, the part in the test where they had to cross the diagonal in Extended canter, RIGHT into a lead change, WOW, talk about tough!
