I usually go to the Marketplace and search for that item. I find the lowest-priced one in stock, and sell mine for about 100g less.
Now, I buy mine by actually sending money to Gaia. If you bought yours with gold from the Marketplace, I would suggest waiting a while to see if they go up in price. This month's items seem to be fairly popular, so they should become valuable in no time at all. :>
