 Once upon a dream nightmare…A long, long time ago in a Shinobi village that held drama, aspirations, death, and unrequited love something good happened. The unrequited love was no longer unrequited. Everything started to straighten up and become right, truly the makings for a happily ever after. And it was, for a while. For a year the drama and death practically ceased and it was a fairy tale ending. Except for the fact it wasn’t an ending at all. It was the beginning of something not a once upon a dream, but rather, a once upon a nightmare.
Death, arguments, even the best intentions turned the romances sour, and everything became worse then it used to be. Everyone is trying to hold what is left from their happy lives together, but somehow the drama came back ten fold, ripping everything apart. And the Akatasuki is coming. No, that once upon a dream marked the beginning of A Tale of Tears and Blood.

 Rules _Roleplaying Rules_ -Be Literate (grammar and spelling are included in “Literate”)-
-Keep characters in character (ex: no goth Sakura, no outgoing Hinata etc.)-
-Violence is allowed, just don’t go “Kill Bill” on me-
-Romance is allowed, as long as it follows Gaia TOS-
-Swearing is allowed-
-I’m not nit picky on other peoples post and you shouldn’t be either-
-even with writers block a true literate should be able to write at least a paragraph every 3 days-
-because of the drama all characters are needed and it would be weird to switch characters right in the middle of the plot because someone ditches us. So, ditch us without a good reason, or be gone for a week without notice and you will be blacklisted-
-Follow Gaia TOS- _OOC Rules_
-All OOCs unless accompanied by a character post should be deleted within 24 hours-
-The only exception to the above rule is in the OOC forum-
-No chat speak except: lol, lmao, brb -
-Just a reminder there should be no chat speak at all while in character-
-No insults, or overall meanness outside of the roleplay-
-If another user does break any of the above rules or offends you alert me -

Plot
Shikamaru and Temari, Sakura and Sasuke, Tsunade and Jiraya, Hinata and Naruto, Tenten and Neji…
It was the makings of a great thing. It really was…until it blew up in their faces. For one reason or another, all relationships, even the very best ones, ended up, or are about to end up in the gutter. And it seems like there’s nothing they can do but try to pull themselves together…but its so hard….
The Lasy a** Coward:It was the distance that tore them, that’s what everyone says. But that isn’t it, at least, not in Shikamaru’s eyes. Temari was stronger, faster, and outranked him by a mile. She was on to bigger and better things. So he was right to break up with her the last time she visited…right. But he can’t turn back now, neither of them can, no matter how much they regret it. Because he’s going out with Ino now…
Blonde and Beautiful, yet insecure one: She stopped chasing Sasuke a while back when she realized the prince charming right in front of her. Nara Shikamaru. Only, he had a girlfriend. But they broke up, and he asked her out. So everything’s sunshine and roses right? Wrong, she can’t help but feel like she’s being used as a replacement….
The "Big Boned" (fat) one: He’s been watching her since for ever. Damnit, he’s loved her since forever, and not only because of her looks, but because of that loyalty that is actually buried within her superficial surface…but he’s never gotten her. And now his best friend is going out with her. He knows why, and she doesn’t deserve to be treated like that, like a replacement. But who ever listens to the “chubby” kid…
The troublesome hardass one: Why the hell does she have to represent the Suna to the Kohana yet again? Why come back when it brings back so many painfully happy memories. Memories of what was and what could have been, what she can no longer have…and there she goes sounding sappy again. She’s supposed to be strong. He has control over shadows but it seems he still has control over her emotions too…
The Optimistic Bubbly one: The pink haired kunochi always thinks about the ex-couple, wondering when she will be next. After all, her relationship with the Uchiha seems to be distant and strained, if not worse. God, he’s supposed to be her boyfriend. But he never pays attention, never listens, never cares…just like how he used to act before they were going out. What the hell is making him act this way anyway….
The Loud Demonic one: Their relationship is strained and the blonde knows it. But there is no way he could come between his friend and his girlfriend right? Even though he’s loved her longer, known what a treasure she was before teme even considered it. So he’s been butting in a lot lately, there isn’t as much alone time between them. And his best friend doesn’t really seem to mind much.
The shy quiet one: He broke her heart, again, and he doesn’t even realize it. They were getting along so well, so sweetly. The Hyuuga was just beginning to be braver, talk to him more, oh if she had just more time…but no, he still loves her. Why is it she’s not good enough? Why can she never compare to the cherry blossom? Why…
The pestimistic curse sealed one: He knows he shouldn’t be watching her, but there he is, glancing at her out of the corner of his sharingan eyes again. And again. Watching as Dobe breaks her heart again and again without realizing it. God doesn’t the stupid blonde realize how good he’s got it? How nice and sweet the girl that admires him is? Oh right, he shouldn’t be thinking of that, after all, he has a girlfriend.
The one with the weapons: So they finally broke up, one of their million fights finally ended up with the words “its over”. And it was. Their relationship was going down for a long time now, and the weapons expert could do little more then watch it sink…
The Hyuuga Protigy:It was a waste of time anyway. Now he could focus on his training, focus on things that really mattered…but the center of his life had always been her…no, no, they just weren’t compatible, they could never have a relationship if they always fought. The Hyuuga knew this too well. Things were easier when they were just teammates, he couldn’t remember a single time they fought back then…
The female hokage: She was a storming rage. She couldn’t believe, she refused to believe…but she knew, deep down she knew. It was true. Her lover and partial crush since gennin days had just kissed her best friend. Research her a**. He had promised to stop writing those damn books anyway. Just for her. She could still remember his lovely whisper as he said it. All lies…
The perverted one: He screwed up, he really screwed up. If the beatings she had given him back in Gennin days were bad he hated to imagine what she would do to him now. And he hadn’t even meant it. He was drunk and, well, had always been a ladies man. But through all those one night stands he had been through she was always there at the back of his mind, the only one he really loved. And now that she was beginning to love him in return he screws it up. He’s never regretted anything more then this….  SettingIt is January, early in the morning and the sun is just begining to creep its way over the horizon and start the day. Temari and Shikamaru broke up a month ago, and Shikamaru and Ino have been going out for three weeks. Tsunade found Jiraya and Shizune last night and is still fumming about it. The weather is cold with strong freezing winds, a possible chance of rain, sleet, snow, or hail. Clouds cover nearly the entire sky. In other words, a very gloomy day.

Part one: Tears
This is basicly a part with just the romances, or rather, broken romances, as we try to get all our characters. I didn't want to have the Akatasuki come in untill we are pretty much all here. But if you want an Akatasuki part send me your roleplay sample and I'll reserve it for you until that part begins.Summery:
