This is just a temporary announcement. I feel it's my responcability as your Vice Captain to inform you when I will not be here to uphold my duties.

January 24th through Febuary 27th, I will be in bonnie Scotland spending much-needed quality time with my Scottish Fiance (yes, we are really engaged, not just Gaia engaged!) blaugh

As you can probably imagine, I cannot promise I will be on the website everyday during this time. 5 weeks may sound like a lot, but normaly I visit for a few months, so we will be treating every second very preciously. Especially because we will not see each other for ANOTHER 5 months after this visit!!!! gonk

If all goes as planned, I will be flying across to settle sometime this Summer and things will smooth out. But for now, what's important for you to know is the Scotsman of my dreams may keep be quite distracted from my Vice Captain duties for just a few weeks (we haven't shared a hug or kiss sense August 2006! crying ).

I will be back to my full duties after the 27th of February 3nodding

I know it's you lass, nae worries! Glad to see ye back after all that mess! I just wanted everyone to know where I am if I practicaly dissapear for a month. xp I'll be sure to post a few piccies to share. 3nodding

Hey folks im back, but I may not be as diligent as I should be for a while...I never got past customs...sorry to break the bad news. I could write a long story to explain what happened, but i'll save the sad story and focus on what's important and that's being with my fiance. I'll still keep checking back though, kk?

Well...basicaly I found out the hard way im "red flagged" and now I have to prove I am visiting or else they don't let me into the country. I think it's because I have a fiance there, and because I am not settled in the USA (ex. owning a home). So I think they're trying to tell me either settle in the USA as enough evidence I would return to the USA after visiting, or come back with a settlement visa (as ive been told) to settle over there. SOOOO...basicaly that's my second time trying to visit my Fiance, and ive got the messege now. He's going to come visit me...im thrilled but GOSH I miss Scotland! We're going to focus on getting my settlement visa now, we we're working on it, now it's in full focus. Going to try for settlement this September, wish me luck... sweatdrop

As for the job thing, a great friend of mine at work got fired, and he didn't even give her a reason. Another friend of mine, also a friend of hers, quit just after because she warned our boss she would. So they we're both gone, and I was due to work the next morning with a third workmate friend of mine. We quit together, and so there you go...4 girls stuck together and quit. Yea it was scary but im happy I chose friends over money, these girls are like family to me, we stuck together. Im looking for a new job now, and just trying to relax, and spend more time with my Fiance chatting online. We haven't been able to chat as much sense he started his new job, he's 6 hours ahead of me so you can imagine it's a bit of a pain. Example, he's home by 6pm for example, someone's using the computer. He get's on at 8:30, we chat until it's 10pm for him and he has to go to bed...guess what time that is for me? 4pm!

So there you go....my sad Vice Captain story for ya...woulden't lie to ya. Just focusing on my Scotsman visiting hopefuly March, and working on a Valentines Day gift to mail him sense we we're meant to be together for it...gosh this sucks...I haven't seen him sense August, and that was only a week because I was denied entry then too, and before that one week visit I hadn't seen him for 5 months. So without that week, we woulden't have huged or kissed for...a year? gonk

Marriage never looked so good...finally together for forever. Canne wait.
