I must say that the Horus Heresy books are interesting. A lot of the history behind the Heresy is being reveiled and it reveils a little more about the Codex Astartes, how Horus was a noble warrior befor his fall, what caused him to fall, and how the civil war on Isstavan was fought against the Traitor legions and those of those leigions who remaine loyal. I gotta admit that though I know how it turns out, I'm still routing for the loyalists on Isstavan, this stuff is a good read

Just got the new Horur Heres book, Flight of the Eisensten and reading random sections of it, it looks like it may explain the origins of the Imperial Inqisition. The next book is called Fulgrim and focuses on the Laren Campaign befor the Emperor's Children turn traitor and participat in the Istavaan V Massacre.

I did not mind so much as his character was not believable, he did things Space marines could not physicially do and that is very unrealistic.

Who are you referring to?
EDIT: And Space Marines are so realistic to begin with. rolleyes But you have to remember that Primarchs are more than a Space Marine and the Emperor is more than a Primarch if that's what you're referring to.

I just got a new Book called Chapter war, its centers on the soul Drinkers chapter and how they where labeled excommunicate because of a ramped mutation. The Howling gryphon's are sent in to destory them along with some recruits of the soul drinkers them selves. It sounds really interesting, I'll give it a review when I get to reading it. 3nodding

The Soul Drinkers were labeled Excommunicate because they attacked the Adeptus Mechanicus trying to get back the Soul Spear of their Chapter and because they turned from the rule of the High Lords of Terra and the Imperium in the first Soul Drinker series book. The idea was originally to have the story tell how a Space Marine Chapter falls to Chaos because it came out with the 3rd Edition update for the Chaos Space Marines, but the editors had the ending changed so they were fighting for the good of humanity/ the Emperor, but not for the High Lords of Terra and the corrupt rullers of the Imperium. the Mutation was only because they started down the path to chaos but turned away(for now) and that has been the theme of the Soul Drinkers series leading up to the 4th book so far
