~Appearance~

Height: 5'9"

Weight: 195

Hair: Red hair, tied back into a short pony tail. two single bangs that hang by his left eye, and shaved to a light fade ion the sides.

Eyes: Karite has beautiful lifeless black eyes, that people just tend to get lost in. His true eye color is a green haze.

Clothing: Shinigami: He wears the traditional uniform with a small phoniex near the heart, he wears a necklace of silver on the end is a blade almost European look

Mortal realm: A white t-shirt with a black dragon crawling all around up to the right shoulder, on top of that a black vest with a phoniex upon the left breast pocket, Followed by black jeans and shoes.

Physical Description: Karite is quite th muscular shinigami...his body is laid with scars from constant training...many he has healed himself but some have stayed. The one he carries still he received from his first run in with a hollow the day he died. He barely escaped but didn't make it through the night. He was saved by a shinigami

Background:Karite was a happy child before he died...he had been properly trained in hand-to-hand combat by his grandfather. This knowledge he carried over when he died...at first he was skeptical to become a shinigami. He was raised to believe a mans true power came not from handling a weapon, but using his hands and mind...but one lesson he never grasped from his grandfather was...to turly be powerful, one must learn to be weak...he soon understood when he came face to face with a hollow.

Personality:Karite is a bold man that holds no grudge towards the innocent...he speaks his mind but is keen on following orders unless they go against his heart. It is in his nature to resist the temptation of evil...but evil is in all things. He is only bound by to things...his uncontrollable lust for battle, and his need to protect others.

Other: Karite has yet to find a reason to fight but belives himself to be quite strong, when he comes against opponets that easily finish him off with ease he just can not understand why he has lost, Konpaku knows the reason but would rather let Karite find out alone, this is half the journey Karite must go upon to become captain.

~Zampakutou~

Zanpakutou name: Konpaku (Spirt)

Zampakutou Call: "revel the evil from the shadows Konpaku"

Zampakutou Appearance razz ure black blade slightly thinner then a Katanna for added speed. The handle is solid red with black stripes running up the handle.

Zampakutou Type: Kidou

Zampaktou Soul: A woman wearing a traditional gi almost like that of the shingami, on her right hip is two beautiful blades, one with a hilt short and hallow, While the blade is pure orange and emits its own heat so to speak. While the other has no gaurd at all, a blue blade, that seems to freeze your soul. Under her straw hat holds her purple eyes.

Zanpakutou name: Hashi (Edge)

Zampakutou Call: "Push me towards the edge and give me Freedom Hashi"

Zampakutou Appearance:A Pure red blade with a chain like handle. The blade is a normal sized Katana, but is thicker for added pain. A broken chain falls from the hilt.

Zampakutou Type: physical

Zampaktou Soul: A man with large muscles and shackles around his wrist. There lay four broken chains, his white tattered pants are only matched to the fact he wear no shoes or shirt. He is tall about 6'7" he has white hair he keeps shirt and spiked to the left. his eyes are a blood red.


Shikai: This is a larger version of the katana but much lighter and quicker in comparison. When it is unleashed it sprinkles ashes with every strike of its blade. It is pure red blade with what seems like claw marks itched into it

Shikai Information



Zampaktou name: Konpaku (spirt)
Call: "Reveal the truth from the shadows Konpaku"
Type:Melee
Appearance: Two black blades usual it appears as one, but if clicked on the hilt it splits a part and becomes two. The only thing they are connected by is a thin red cloth. It is able to stretch by the control of Karite's reisatsu
Powers: Powers to control shadows
Techniques:
rasuto unari (Last Roar): The user spins the blade in front of them quickly making a roaring sound putting out high wind speed wind blades.

kumori faita (Shadow fighter):With this the user can blend into the shadows and move like one

amerikahyou metsuki (Jaguar eyes): This the blade sends out the illusion of jaguars through shadows...the only thing seen are there eyes. They fight just like real creatures.

kumori baindo (Shadow bind): This the user yells "Hands of the divine" and through the shadows four hands come and pull down the target to his knees almost like sai but stronger.

kuroi ken (black blade)
black summons dead warriors blades from beyond the grave to fight.
Each blade cost 1 rei point and for every minute in use cost 2

The grim goodbye
Karite pours his riesatsu into his blades and they stretch causing the radius around them to block out all the senses of the oppent around them if caught in it.

Name: thousand shadows Slash
Description: A flick of the blade through the air opens a shadow type portal. Sticking the blade through the portal repeatedly causes another portal to open up around the target stabbing them.

Rivals


Tsai: Tsai Lin is the heir to the Lin family. He also is the fastest shingami Karite has ever seen. They first met in Hakadu class where their spar ended in a tie. From then Karite swore he would be stronger then Tsai, so far he has failed miserably.

Kaosu: Kaosu was the first shingami Karite fought outside of the academy. He wasnt very good and was finished off quickly. Yet his determanation made him someone Karite would watch out for

Ugu: Ugu is a elder shingami and Karite refers to him as Ugu-Sensei. Ugu was first seen by karite when he was ambushed by bandits in the Zakari district. After that he was trained by Ugu for a short time.

Ran: Ran was first seen by Karite in Basic Zanpaktou fighting class. After that Karite spared with her on Sokkyu Hill. He was slaughtered in one move. She was the reason Karite rethought what really strength was.

Konpaku: Konpaku is Karite Zanpaktou spirt. Her fierce tounge is something he hates, but she is helpful when she isnt digging into his behind and destroying his ego.

Experiences in Soul Society


Day of pain: Today I was complete torn apart by Ran. She complete ripped me a new one after I got cocky on the hill with sensei. He partnered me with ran and her speed and power where so great the medics had to work on me for a long while. That was the strongest blown I have seen since Ugu-sensei.

Day of Defeat: Today we returned to the hill where I found myself fighting Long. He was strange and had a sharp tounge, just about as sharp as his skills. We fought for some time, before he actually hit me. When I thought the fight was mine it seemed the tides quickly turned in his favor. I guess not all things are as they seem.

Day of Truth: Today I was shown the truth of my Zanpaktou Soul. She is a swordsmen. I am one to, but I know nothing of the way of the balde. If I am going to learn anything special it will have to be her. Also her name would help as well.

Art: hakuda
Description: Karite charges the reisatsu into the vocal chords of his throat, with a deep breath he release a drum busting roar that shatters the ear drum of the target.

Effect: Target loses the awareness and hohou modifier to their damage for three rounds. This does not effect shikai based barriers which add to dodge.

Name: bouseki hirate (spinning palm)

Description: The user hits in the ribs with a open palm twice with each hand and the final blow comes from underneath. The user bends down and comes up with spinning motion to the jaw as he launches himself upwards the defender is knocked off his feet.

Description: The user lets their enemy charge at them, when their enemy comes they take their first attack and use it to spin them around till they are dizzy and slam them into the nearest surface.

Technique Effect: You forgo a dodge, and when you attempt to attack your opponent, you forfeit all other attacks that round to use this attack. You receive a bonus to hit equal to the bonus you would have received to your dodge, agility & awareness, which are instead applied to your attack bonus, along with all other standard attack bonuses.

Zanjutsu


Name: tsuchi she-ka (earths scream)
Art: Zanjutsu
Description: The user jumps high into the air forming his Reiatsu in the Zanpakuto, as they came to the ground the wielder pierces the ground as the Reisatu flows from the blade it snakes its way to the defender and sends a jagged piece of earth upwards.

Name: sora doragon slash (Sky Dragon Slash)
Art: Zanjutsu
Description: The user throws his blade into the air. Forming the reiatsu in his hands, the user then jumps up putting the reiatsu into the blade and coming down stabbing it into the ground. Causing the earth to glow and shoot the reiatsu up with a explosion.

Name: Heki Za Tsuiraku San - [Burst Of the Falling Sun]
Art: Hadou #44
Effect: The user charges the reiatsu through his hand and focus it tell it turns into lighting. once the lighting begins to jump the user hits the ground sending it spiking towards the target the jumping up and shocking their body and its nervous system.
Damage: 90-140 + 2 per 10 kidou ranks the user has. If the attack is successful, the target is stunned for a single round (post).
Reiatsu Cost: 40
Requirements:

Chant: From the heavens falls the sun, from the earth rises the green, from the sky falls the bolt

Name: Aoi Tsume (Blue Claw)
Art: Hadou #15
Effect: Charging the reiatsu into the knuckles of both hands the user forms eight reiatsu knifes. to form between the webbing of the fingers. Then they are shot and focused on any Reiatsu in the area
Other Notes: Each knife must be rolled as a separate attack in the same spell, and dodge is done in the same fashion.
Damage: 20-40 per projectile, + Min/Max Kidou Damage

Effect: This particular kidou is used with a series of quick hand-motions (those representing 'Sky', 'Wind', 'Heaven', 'Moon', 'Pain', 'Star', in that order), causing spheres of reiatsu to focus around the opponent, before shattering down on them like a barrage of arrows.
Damage: 150-220 + 2 per kidou rank the user has.

Hadou #63 - Raikouhou ("Roaring Thunder Burn") Gathers reiatsu in the palm of the hand to call forth a wave of thunder that seeks the target.
Incantation: Bone of a straggling beast, spire, crimson crystal, disc of steel, when the wind shifts, and the emptiness ceases, let the clash of lances resonate through the relinquished castle.
Damage: 250 – 400 Reiatsu mod + 4 per Kidou rank the caster have.

Name: Hadou no Nanajuushi: Megamikaze
Art: Destructive Art 74: Goddess Wind

Effect: A strong Wind Hadou. When used, this affects an area with a cyclonic wind that rips and tears apart anything within the area of effect. Anything with a physical form is subject to this ripping and tearing. The Goddess Wind rends apart material objects such as clothing easily, and can even severely damage armor. The effect of the center of gravity created by the great wind is much like a tornado in its application; things outside are sucked into it, yet unlike a tornado which leaves much at its center unharmed, blades of air are moving in spiral patterns in the center, making the entire attack an abbatoir of invisible razorblades and swordblades. Damage is dealt to anything touching the outside, and caught on the inside, both from being sucked in, or being in the area of effect upon the casting. The area of effect in question is some fourty by fourty feet, in a circle, and the wind extends about three hundred yards upward. Since the wind blades jump constantly, invisibly from wall to wall of the cyclonic force, avoiding them if one is caught in the center, is near literally impossible, though one can exert force or Shunpou to leap out of the area after taking some, though not all, damage. The cyclonic wind lasts in its
area for six rounds.

In addition, there is a chilling effect, which causes numbness and coldness to any caught in the blades of air. Once blood flows a certain amount for those caught in the cycling air, they will find their blood and limbs chilled and numb. This persists for two rounds, and reduces all accuracy bonuses by five.

Damage: 350 flat per round, Reiatsu Mod +4 per Kidou rank of the caster

a tribute to the Aether; Make still the hearts of man, as your voice and kiss rebuild seven heavens!

# Bakudou #1 - Sai ("Obstruction")
Sai, is a low level Kidou that forces the targets arms behind them, preventing them from using them. This spell is good for Shinigami that would prefer to restrain the opponent, but generally only works against weaker opponents.

Effect: Victim cannot attack or make any action that requires the use of his/her arms.
Breaking: Strength check DC: 10 + User Reiatsu modifier + 2 Per point 10 points in kidou the caster have.
