*~Intro and Story

This rp is based on this uber spiffy book series known as Diadem. Basically, (or not so basically) the universe is set up like a bulls eye. Like this:



Each ring has its own circuit of planets and worlds, each with a certain amount of magical properties. The more you get towards the center of the bullseye, towards the 'diadem,' the more that magic grows. Earth, along with a few other planets and worlds, not so surprisingly, are located right on the outer rim of the diadem, where the chances of one having ANY magical powers or properties are close to one in a zillion. Having said that, those that actually DO show magical properties have powers that are uber weak. However, if they ever journeyed towards the center of the diadem, there powers would increase exponentially, and would most certainly become a power worth reckoning. A power very much envied by others. But if you aren't strong enough, then travling closer to the diadem will be fatal.

No one on the outer rim knows about the diadem, but those towards the center do. And someone in the center has set their eyes on the rim world called Erth.

You are one of those people, one of those lucky few that contain a certain small magical power on earth, be it the ability to predict/see one's moves ahead of time, the ability to change the slight form of something small, or just high intelligence. Whether you're aware of your skill or not, you're about to be visited by something that will change the course of your life forever, and fling you into the inner rings of the place and puzzle known as the Diadem.

Gaian Name: Watagashi
Character Name: Sybil of Flask
Age: 19
Appearance: She has dark skin with long, flowing, curly black hair and deep jade eyes. Around her neck is a cross she always wears and on her ears are two dangling gold loop earrings to accentuate her slightly pointy ears. She stands about 5'4".
Brief Bio: It wasn't until Sybil was in five that she learned that her hearing was better than everyone else's. Whispers from across the market, moans and creaks in the wood in another house, even dog whistles could not escape her keen perception. Also, to her not-so-advantage, she has found she can hear spirits as well. She lives in a home with her two brothers and one sister, along with her grandma. Because of their struggling finances, Sybil works long hours to help pay for whatever's needed.
Ability: Extremely sensitive hearing.

Roar rode on his bike down some old road. He saw a random street sign ahead saying a town was ten miles off. He slowed to stop to think on turning back. Floating high over and invisible to him where four Shadows. Servants of some great evil whom had eyes on him. Looking back, Roar heard a car coming so he took his bike offroad to wait for it to pass.
As he was hiding in the bushes, a cop car came up the road. The Shadows darted for the car and possed the two police. The car stopped right infront of Roar. He lowered himself under his bike as the cops got out. He wondered if they saw him when they pulled their guns and opened fire!
