We live in a world, where the Dreams we have wear thin and are constantly interuppted by the gasping breaths one must take after a hideous nightmare. We are the Dream Walkers. We travel from Dream to Dream, searching for that which we lost. A soul of some kind, be it a staff, the one we love more than life itself, or the means to remember a forgotten past. We search for them. Always.

We travel around dreams, watching, taking note, sometimes tweaking a few nerves to cause amusing effects. Yet, we cannot be caught in a dream when the Dreamer wakes up. We are the Dream Walkers. We are immortal, but if we are stuck in a Dream, we will be lost and our names forgotten. There is no escape from this fate. It is a rare thing, but alas, we have no way to stop it.

She fights all the time, living alone and getting in fights with other demons. Her family had abandoned her when she was a little girl and thus, the dreams.

There isn't really a story just yet. It is more just an Introduction to the characters so far.

The Temple of Akari

Prologue

On a planet, much like earth, lived a people, much like Humans, in fact, they were humans, but these humans were different. They were the children of freaks, who possesed special powers, and they threatened to overthrow the universe... The gods didn't like this idea, and so chose to wipe out all over the age of 10, so that the new offspring could learn peace. The powers and skills inculcted in the people also died, in all but a few, rare, cases. Many years have passed since that day, and the abilities of the ninja almost lost with them. A few possess watered-down abilities, but only the ones who truely show talent are allowed to become great ninjas like in the past. These 'Chosen Ones', after their 16th birthday, are sent letters on the 6th Full Moon of the year, telling them of their destiny. Their chance to learn, train and grow at the Temple of Akari. Because of the rarity of these skills, every last one must be trained in the way of the ninja, or forever lose our past.

The Temple of the Akari, situated in the Valley of Forgotten Souls.

THE ENTRANCE HALL AND INNER COURTYARD



The Inner Courtyard, set just inside the entrance to the Temple. It is the Gateway to the Temple, allowing inhabitants to enter and leave at will, whilst outsiders are tested. To the right, is the Training Ground, where you can find all the equipment needed to train a leathal fighting machine. To the left is the Outer Courtyard.

THE OUTER COURTYARD



The Outer Courtyard is the perfect place to be on a sunny day, when you aren't training. It is where the ninjas can gather together and "chill".

THE HALL OF WORSHIP

A place where ninjas go to pray to their Gods.

This is where all of the Ninjas gather together to eat. There are several tables, in rows, and you can sit with your friends.

Her skills became apparent in Primary school, when she would control the gerbil's water whilst talking with it. She was treated as an outcast because of this, and her parents were forced to teach her at home. When she was of an age where she could come to the temple, she did so, and has been there for 6 months.

Newly arrived Student Eike duelled soon-to-be Chuunin Kagura, and the outcome saw Kagura unconcious. The relationship between Sabriel and Kain has transformed from mild resentment into a deep and meaningful love. Unfortunatly, duty calls and Kain was sent away to fight an evil presence which is threatening the school. Eike and Hokage Enya are rallying the remaining ninjas to fight Lucifer's proteje, Namine.

Lainder. Once a proud, peaceful place, now lies shattered; the wild has taken over. Most of the once beautiful land is ruined, surrounded by the Wild. The only surviing landmarks being the small towns which were almost destroyed, but who now cling to a miserable life. Because of the unreasonable fear of the Wilds, only a few, strong warriors are permitted to leave the village, to search for food and forgotten relics, hoping to restore their honour.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This fear of the wild was born from an uncontrolable fear of the one time inhabitants of the Wild: the Drakor, a powerful race of Humans/Dragons. After the Cataclysm, the Drakons surrendered their Dragon forms, and took to the life of the Humans, to avoid being eradicated. Since that time, only a few of the Drakors remember that past. Most have moved on, inter-breeding with humans, nearly destroying their race.

However, this year, the red moon glows brightest, and those who have lain dormant will rise again to seek the power to raise the Dragon Lord. Only the Dragon Lord can restore all of the power, but he lives high on a mountain top, far away, deep in the Wilds. Those few who knew their past feel their power draining, and must desperatly seek out their bretheren and teach them the old ways. However, there are a few people who will oppose this journey.

The Dark Army is determined to wipe every last Drakor from the face of this Earth, by any means necessary.

Bio: Once a powerful member of the Dark Army, able to change between Dark and Human forms, he was knocked into a deep sleep when his last victim placed a curse on him that stopped him shifting forms. Left dormant in his human form lying in an old, decicated relic left in the jungle, his soul was sent to hell to be tormented for hundreds of years until he was
woken. But the curse backfired. While residing in hell, his empty body changed to match his soul's image. Now a massive, 10 foot monstrosity of pure horror, he awaits a creature powerful enough to wake him and sustain his life force, and bring him back to full power so he can once
