With our leader's approval, I'm making this new thread intended for non-help-related questions. This thread is for all of the guild's members. As in, each of us can post a new question (for the rest of us) each week if someone can think of one. The first one to arrive each monday or so to the guild, could post a new question. If you are still unsure of what I mean, take a look at the first question:
When playing this awesome game, have you ever used the color mode option known as "TV" while using a Nintendo Game Boy Player?
One thing I must say is that, if a crew member or someone else wishes to make up a question (whether it will reward another member with a prize of some sort or not), you are most welcome to do so.
BTW, if you are new to the guild or haven't answered a question in particular, here's a detail of every question posted so far in case you feel like answering them:
Page 2 - 2 questions:
1- How do you keep track of yer units' stats, abilities, mission status and such? 2- Do you prefer to play FFTA at night or during the day?
Page 3 - 2 questions:
1- Which one of the first few battles (before the first totema) was the toughest one for you? 2- How do you usually arrange the equipment on yer characters?
Page 4 - 3 questions:
1- If you had been a member of the development team of FFTA, which ability (or abilities) from yer favorite job would you've had replaced for another one (or other ones)? 2- How would you have handled things if you had been in Marche's place? Would you have said or done things differently or just about the same? If you'd like to expand on yer answer, feel free to do so. 3- Do you change your battle strategy depending on the type of battlefield when you engage? If so, how?
Page 5 - 4 questions:
1- How often do you play the game? 2- Have you ever had the awful experience of seeing an opponent with a great stealable item and see that none of your available units can steal it? 3- Have you tried placing a member from a different race before any others every time you do a recurring mission like "Prision Break" or "Mythril Rush" just to see if they say anything different? If so, which of them do you like best? 4- When you do a mission (or battle), how many units do you usually send out? Have you ever sent only one of yer units to battle against 5 or maybe 6 enemy units?
Page 6 - 1 question:
How do you stand on certain secret characters? By this I mean, what do you think about each of the secret characters and their usefulness? The secret characters are as follow: Shara Ritz Ezel Babus Cid
Page 7 - 2 questions:
1- If you could make yer own pair of shoes, how would you make them and why? 2- What kind of job would you like to add to the world of FFTA & what kind of stat growth would a character get by leveling up as one?
For more information on those questions, please visit page 7.
Page 8 - 2 questions:
1. If you were given the chance to make a helmet for FFTA2 and you were given 20 points to do so, how would you distribute them? 2. What's the silliest name you have seen on an enemy unit and, why do you believe it's so silly?
Page 9 - 2 questions:
1. Which units names are your favorites and why? 2a. What's the name of your clan? 2b. Do you wish you could change it for another one and, if so, which one?

I always used the TV mode, as it was always hard for me to see with the other color modes. I like it when its a bit darker, and it came in greater detail, making a better view. I also played it on the Gameboy player for the Gamecube, so i got used to the graphics xd .

I usually use LCD A, I tried the other two and found I'm more comfortable with LCD A. I might grow into another one as time goes on.

Cool! I got used to the TV mode and I use it all the time now, no matter if I'm playing on my cube or on my GBA. At first though, I used LCD B cuz I started with a GBS SP and it is said (on the instruction manual) that this mode is best for when playing on a GBA SP. I wonder though, if you play on a DS... would "LCD B" be better choice than any of the other two? Hmm... rolleyes

Its all down to personal prefrence. TV works just as well as LCD B does on the DS.

It's Monday of the new week! It's time for a new question! Be truthful. Do you like Montblac for his personality, usefulness or don't like him at all.
I like Montblac for both his personality and his usefulness. He's the character you get in the very beginning and many events require you to use him. This allows him to become an important part of your clan. And he's a Moogle. Who doesn't love moogles?

I lean towards usefulness. He loses almost all speech after the fourth crystal, so his personality stops there. I mean sure, he does have a great personality, but his usefulness overshadows it. If he was more important to the main storyline, wouldnt he have a better personality instead of being a sidekick with hardly any say?

Usefulness. Montblanc RUINED moogles for me. Some new kid comes here and suddenly he's in charge? Oh gee, let an eleven year old with no experience run a professional job.

Sheikeh Usefulness. Montblanc RUINED moogles for me. Some new kid comes here and suddenly he's in charge? Oh gee, let an eleven year old with no experience run a professional job. Agreed, and let's not forget that Magic moogles arn't the most useful moogles in the world. Let's face it. Moogles belong as thieves, gunners, or jugglers, and anything else is just a waste of space. Montblanc start's with very, VERY mage like stats, so he's pretty much ruined for me.

Moogles are more useful as Theives, Gunners, and Jugglers. Magic should probably be handled by the Nu Mou. I agree with that.
Montblac can become a Time Mage early on in the game, that can be exceptionally useful if you want to make the game easier. Or you could just switch him straight to theif and who ever the thirf is could become a Mage.
I wonder why Montblac helped Marche...I don't remember if he ever told him in the game.

Hmm, I believe I like Montblanc's mooglenality (he's not a person so he doesn't get a "personality" lol ) best cuz, I really don't see much usefulness on him. After all, he doesn't even get the first 3 mage spells mastered to begin with. And whenever he gains a level, it seems to me he gets the same speed stat boost no matter which job he has. I've seen some moogles get a decent boost whenever they have the thief job but, not him. I wonder why this is... rolleyes
