They have their moments, lol. Love the new album, "Split Needles". heart And true, they truly are one of those bands you would listen to while doing nothing at all.

I really like Phantom Limb after dissing it for about a week. I've heard one other song and it was so slow and nothing like Phantom Limb, I think its called New Slang.
Any recommendations?

Kiritori I really like Phantom Limb after dissing it for about a week. I've heard one other song and it was so slow and nothing like Phantom Limb, I think its called New Slang.
Any recommendations? Aw, I love New Slang. I had to watch Garden State like five times before I realized that it was the song she said would "change his life". I would suggest most of Chutes To Narrow, but highlighting So Says I, Saint Simon, and Fighting In A Sack. Oh, and Caring Is Creepy off of Oh, Inverted World.

I love the Shins.
My favorite song as of today of theirs, would be Red Rabbits.
But I like Phantom Limb, Pink Bullets, Kissing the Lipless, Caring is Creepy, New Slang, Girl Inform Me, Girl on the Wing, Sea Legs, Split Needles, Young Pilgrim, Know Your Onion!, and Sleeping Lessons.
They're a great band to listen to in the winter.
And yes, I like to classify my music by season. Shut up.

Yeah I looove the shins. They are a great band but I don't really like their new album (wincing the night away)
