OK, does anyone know a good site to get current events? For Poli. Sci, I have to find an event and connect it to history. Is there a good news site out there with events that are possible to tie to a major past event?
*side note: What do you think of my new avi?

I know this is old, but if you still need news sites, I can suggest a few...The BBC (usually the BBC has very good coverage of world events and is highly respected. It is also a very good source for anything that happens in the UK)National Public Radio (many news clips are audio, but there is quite a bit of print information too and it's usually very up-to-date)WikiNews (from the same software as Wikipedia, WikiNews is a collaborative news source that anyone can edit. Great for Anglophone world news; usually the sources provide a good leaping point for additional information)Google News (like the rest of the site, Google News is more of a launching pad which searches major news providers for relevant articles; can be sorted by date as well)

Uh... pretty much what she said.
CNN is okay too. Or MSN news. :]
And yes your avatar is quite spiffy. Like mine? (But, let's not stray from the real subject) xd
