So, the outfits in Otome are... hmm... well... different. And though most of the characters do go to a school that has a uniform, at some point, each character has a dramatically different costume.
Costumes from Otome get mixed reviews. Some look pretty and others look pretty ridiculous. Some are just plain ugly, but others are actually cool. Some people love 'em - others hate 'em.
Here's a place where you can rate and comment on a character's costume from Otome.
May contain possible spoilers, depending how far you got in the series.
We are not rating the character, just their outfit - but you can throw your commentary/suggests for improvement. Here's your chance to be a snotty fashion critic.

I'll get the ball rolling and start with Nao.  A French tourist with pants that make her a** look big D: and the shoes are a no-no. 4.5/10, srsly, does not pass. The shirt with the yellow bandana is cute, even the suspenders could work. But the poor-boy-Oliver-PLEASESIRIWANTSOMEMOAR-hat makes her look like a train conductor. Pants are waaay too big, she might as well just take them off. - The dress? It's okay. Nothing special, but the tight leggings (what is this, the 80s?) with the heals is... it bothers me. Waist up, you can't really complain. 6/10.  Spider man with heals and ugly disco pants = nothx. It's not that horrible though... I like the shoulders/chest of the outfit. 7/10

I HEARTILY DISAGREE!
Nao looks hot in that suspender outfit. While I do agree, those pants should just come off, it is not because they themselves are unsexy, but due to other ulterior motives. The only thing I would beg is some different shoes. Sneakers or something perhaps.
Her dress would be amazing without those leggings. Much higher than a 7 for that, 6 mayhaps for the spidey deal. Not a fan of that ugly atrocity. talk2hand

Next, Haruka Armitage!! I can't find any good character desing pics of her, let me know if you do. One thing that really terrifies me about her outfit is the GARGANTUAN CAMELTOE!  Wheew~~ I can smell it from here. gonk It would not cease to bother me every time I saw it... <8OOO

I love Haruka to death, and I wouldn't have any problem with her robe if it wasn't for that stupid, horrible line RIGHT THERE. XDD It's so distracting and horrible.
I mean, Jesus Haruka, whatever happened to preserving decency and innocence?

Yea... the cameltoe ruins her outfit.. other then that.. she probably has one of my favorite outfits in Otome.. but there aren't many I like.. so yea. ;D

aww i liked the stay puff marshmallow from ghostbusters! dont compare it to err ... that... XD;
y'know, why did that character even exist? She appeared like... ONCE in both HiME and Otome as this nameless, pointless beast.
Haruka's cameltoe and puffy clown sleeves are a no-go for me. The outfit was more than unflattering on her when she started to fight and fly around. Her meister robe was just about as ugly as everyone elses - except her tits looked like they were on the verge of exploding out.
Haruka had big leg muscles in that otome outfit, check out those calves! Too much DDR, maybe?
