I threw out a few people this weekend due to the fact that I was tired of second chances. From now on, you get one warning and then you're out. So be forewarned. But upon throwing someone out, I got an interesting pm. And now I thought I'd share it and my thoughts on it.



Gifted people get the best? First of all, what makes us gifted? Because we can spell words like 'enough' properly? If that's all it takes to be gifted then I guess I'm in. But really I think being gifted goes much further than that, though I don't have a clear cut definition.
But further more, if this person thinks that gifted people are naturally given better things, then why doesn't he strive to this level? He makes it sound like you either are or are not.
All in all I was offended by the pm, since it made it sound like it was my fault for him not being able to spell and he was just a helpless bystander in a world of gifted people who wont let him on the boat. Stop blaming others and come out of your holes people!

It is not so much as being 'gifted' as it is a basic grasp of understanding when it comes to how to communicate using writing. Some of it is grammer, some of it is spelling. This is being literate which, ta da, is part of what the guild stands for. I get PMs all of the time from people who get angry at me for me being angry at them for their lack o' effort when contributing to an otherwise productive roleplay. :le twitch of le eyebrow:
