-Mackay flies in from a forest far away and lands on a grasspatch closeby the Eyrie. After landing he struds over to a pool of water and lowers his head to take a drink. After taking a cooling drink he looks up and overlooks the area- "Hmm, interesting spot this is. I don't think I've been here before." He softly speaks to himself. [6]

Lazulisea takes in a deep breath, relazing at the scent of pure nature. She was glad that she found this spot, where no other Phoenii had hopefully gone before...
Except when an orange flamey-looking Phoenii just landed by a pond that was a distance away, she knew that she just contridicted herself. Why does everything have to go wrong when someone says or thinks somthing? And who was he anyway? Lazulisea never saw him before.
Catiously, she walked up behind him to examined him more closely...

-He yawns slightly and starts to preen his feathers before making himself comfortable on the green grass. He looks up as he hears a rustle in the grass behind him and he quickly turns his head to check out the sound.- "Is anyone there?" He asks in a soft cautious voice. -He waits for a response and turns his head back- "I guess I mist have imagined it. Oh well, I guess I could take a little nap. The sun feels so good and I'm a little tired after my long flight over here." -Mackay lays himself down and closes his eyes, feeling the sun shine onto his brightcolored feathers. Slowly he starts to nod his head as he dozes off.- [10]

Lazulisea watched as the Phoenii looks around, asks if someone (most likely here) was there, and fall asleep. She didn't think that this area was good for resting, but he sounded tired in the first place. Lazulisea sat next to him for a while, pondering.
Finally, she gathered up enough courage to tap the Phoenii on the shoulder. "Are... you alright?" She asked, with nothing else to say.

-As he's being tapped on the shoulder he opens his eyes and gets the living daylights scared out of him- "Yikes..." He tries to scramble away from the Phoenii that tapped his shoulder. "Who.. who... who are you." He stutters while he struggles to stand up fully. -The Phoenii who tapped his shoulder had scared him pretty badly as he didn't notice anyone being around before.- [5]

Lazulisea backed off, sensing that he was surprised at her sudden apperence.
"I'm... I'm... Lazulisea." She stuttered getting her name out. Usually, she wouldn't give out her name to a Phoenii she just met, but she felt different about him. He didn't made Lazulisea nervous as much as other ones. "Where did you... come from?" She asked even quieter.

-After regaining his nerves he crasks his neck and looks at her.- "Hello there Lazulisea." He spoke in a real soft voice. "My name is Mackay and I come from the nest of `Sonny`. His nest is that way." Mackay points his wing over to the forest. "It's several hours flying in that direction." "Why did you scare me like that?" He frowns a little and cocks his head to the side to overlook her. Her looks were different from those in the nest he came from. Although he himself was different then most of the Phoenii in there. Lazulisea glanced in the direction of his nest. She couldn't even see any hint of the nest from here. He really must be a strong flyer... she noted.
"...Why?" Lazulisea whispered. Come to think of it, she didn't know why she woke him up. It wasn't polite, especially after he had flown such a long distance. "...I guess you surprised me as well." Lazulisea blurted out. "I thought I really was the only Phoenii that found this place... I'm sorry about that..."

-Mackay shrugs and looks at her- "It seems I'm awake now, so what are you doing here? It looks like not many Phoenii are out here." He looks around and squints his eyes a bit as he looks into the reflection of the sunlight in the water. "Aye, I forgot the water. Well.. yeah.. uhm.." Mackay is trying to find the right words to say. "So where do you come from Lazulisea? Do you have a nest somewhere too?" -Mackay looks into her eyes and puts a faint smile on his face- [9]

Lazulisea remained quiet before answering. "I... came to get away from the other Phoeniis of my nest... There's so many chicks and chick-minded adults that I really can't think or do anything properly..." She doesn't gaze into Mackay's eyes and glances downward. "This place is my private sanctuary of sorts."
She breathes in and out for a moment before answering his next question. "I come from Piney's nest, which is around your nest in a way. It's more like Jadewing's nest really, since she's the one who takes care of it more.." Lazulisea manages a small laugh at what she just said.

-Mackay starts to relax a little and sits himself down.- "I can understand your reason for wanting a sanctuary. I won't tell this spot to others, it's far to nice here to have other Phoenii come here and make it all crowded." He catches his breath for a moment and smiles shyly at Lazulisea. "Too many chicks and adults that are chick-minded? You should check Sonny's nest. It's full of chicks and teens." -Mackay looks into Lazulisea's pretty purple eyes and smiles softly.- "Has anyone ever told you that you're really pret.." He stops before he can finish his sentence and starts to blush all over. Slowly he turns his head away trying to hide his face hoping she didn't notice the redness under the bright colors of his feathers. [11]

Lazulisea gasped, and closed her mouth. "Well... uh...." The comfortable air around Mackay suddenly vanished, leaving her more awkward than normal. "Some Phoeniis told me I'm pretty already..... but no one from outside my nest..." She ducked her head under her wing, blushing like a tomato. "Thank... you." Lazulisea murmered from under her wing.

"I'm sorry, sometimes I just flap things out." -Mackay hangs his head a bit, his bluntness caused him problems several times before.- "But it's..... it is true, you are pretty" He speaks selfassured. -He slowly moves closer to her and gently nuzzles her cheek- "I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable. That wasn't my intention." Suddenly he notices himself nuzzling her and he quickly backs off. Hoping she wouldn't think he was meaning anything other then him trying to make her feel better. His clumsyness probably would get him in trouble again. [10]

"I know..." Lazulisea muttered. She took her head out of her wing when Mackay nuzzled her, feeling fine again. Seeing he step backwards in shock, she gave him a warm smile and stepped over.
"No... it's alright. I kind of liked it..." She stopped speaking and blushed, scared that he might not like what she just said.
Lazulisea never felt love, but she realiazed that this might be it.
