I never thought of that was a pairing till last night when I saw an episode that involved them... I think that might make a good pairing what do you think???

ShikaSaku is my OTCP ^^. I think that is very adorible and cute. I can some hinting of it in the show, but like most crack pairings I could never see it becomming canon.
I agree with the whole geniuses conversation ^^

They are smart, they are somewhat perfect together... Since Shikamaru is lazy and Sakura is a hard working person, it goes by the line...
Fanfiction
Sakura glares at the lazy Chunnin, Tsunade demanded that Shikamaru pick up the files now. She drew closer, bending down to his level. "Shikamaru, are you dead?" Sakura asks innocently.
Shikamaru didn't reply or move in the matter.
"If you aren't... WELL YOU WILL BE BY TSUNADE OR ME, WHOEVER GETS YOU FIRST!!!" Sakura screams, taking a swipe at his head.
She missed.
The lazy Chunnin was running for his life as an enraged pink haired girl chased him down through Konoha.

I feel that Shikamaru and Sakura will come to some difficult problems but they will solve it sooner or later.

Shikamaru and Sakura are bound to be put on many missions together, with Sakura being a top-notch medic-nin and Shikamaru a leader. They both talk casualty to one another, as friends. They are both freakin smart. They have more hints than most crack couples. They are both geniuses. (had to put it twice since they are both really-really smart) ninja

It's a no for me. ShikaSaku bores me, more than that it seems like people will put Sakura with any and everyone, and that annoys me tons. I can't see Shikamaru ever having any interest in Sakura and I'm more into the 'opposites attract' kinda pairs. And Sakura may have book smarts, but she rarely seems to show it, it may just be my biased opinion because I don't like her, but Sakura doesn't do much [at least unil Shippuden]. I think Shika would do better with someone who had street smarts.
