Introduction Left, down, right, A, B, X, YThe tough looking martial arts character in white erupted in flames. As the flames cleared, his clothes had turned black. Down, Right, BThe martial-arts character released a giant red fire ball. It flew across the screen and landed a direct hit on the burly-looking muscle man with too much chest hair. He fell down and the screen flashed "KO" in big vibrant letters. The boy sitting in front of his screen laid his controller on the floor and sighed. "I wish I could fight that good in real life..." "What if you could?"--------------------------------------- In the world of Video Death, a warrior is not measured by his skill with a sword, or his endless magic, but how fast his fingers can move. Recently, monsters and fighters have become rampant in this quiet city, fighting and disappearing, leaving ruin in their wake. And the only evidence to the existence of these anomalies? A plastic controller. People all over the quiet suburban city of New Joy have come into possession of what some are calling AECs, or "Alter Ego Controllers". Who ever is in possession of such a strange device gains command of a beast they may use in what ever way they choose, whether it be for vicious sport or their personal reprieve. But is that it? Is this all some petty game for the many owners of these weapons of mass destruction? Or is there an even more sinister plot brewing beneath the surface? A game this deadly surely can't just be for fun.

Overview/Instruction Manual AECs are devices similar to video game controllers, sharing similar appearances and functions. They tend to resemble what we call a “Playstation” controller, but have been known to take on other shapes, as well. And those who wield them are more commonly known as “Alter Gamers”, albeit similar to a regular gamer, are different entirely. The purpose of an AEC is to release the user's "Alter Ego", a reflection of their soul and a manifestation of their imagination, so that they may fulfill their most primal urge, the need for violence. The AEC is the tool that was created for such intentions through the interlinking of one’s soul and the game to manifest itself in reality as a tangible and interactive form. In a sense, the ultimate fusion of man and machine for the sole purpose of entertainment. The ultimate game. Each Alter Ego, commonly called "Ego" for short, varies from person to person, and AECs will change depending on owners. Instruction Manual As you eye the controller in your hand oddly, you notice a small sheet of paper flutter onto the ground. You look up, confused by where the slip came from before deciding to pick it up. Across the top of the sheet it read in big bold letters “INSTRUCTION MANUAL”. Looking from the controller to the “manual”, you shrug and decide to read it. INSTRUCTION MANUAL 1. Those who are in possession of an Alter Ego Controller are bound to it. Alter Ego Controllers release the user’s “Alter Ego”, a creation of the player’s soul. 2. Alter Egos vary from person to person. Two users sharing the same AEC will create two different egos for the two different souls. Therefore, a player will always create the same Ego, no matter what controller they use. 3. For each different Ego, comes a different set of abilities that can be used through the proper button combinations on the AEC, as common to fighting games. To learn them, the player must experiment different combinations. 4. As these monsters are the imprints of the user's soul, destruction of either the device or Ego could result in serious pain for the user. In some cases, depending on the severity, death. 5. Furthermore, as an Alter Ego is a representation of the player's mind and soul, if the player at any point succumbs to mental fatigue or loses the will to fight, the Alter Ego will be unable to sustain itself in battle. 6. Therefore, Alter Egos, although etheral beings, need nourishment in the form of their owner's thoughts and soul, but only while materialized. 7. Alter Egos can vary from the wildest beast, to the most advanced humanoid. It will show the true form of the user's soul. You stare in amazement at the sheet. Your eyes slowly make their way back to the plastic controller in your hand, and back to the manual. You flip it over to find the side is blank, but somehow, it feels by reading that, there is more the sheet is not telling. As you wonder this to yourself, the wind picks up and the manual finds its way out of your grip and is carried off into the wind. You grumble to yourself, wishing the manual was still in your hand, when a small sheet of paper flutters onto the ground...8. If you need to see the manual, it will come to you. Setting This takes place in a modern setting, similar to the current time period. Almost everything is the same, besides the giant monsters popping out of video game controllers all over the place. The city itself, called New Joy, is fairly small, consisting of one mall, two schools, and down town area. The rest is mainly homes, except for main street and the few streets that branch off, which are local stores amongst other businesses.

Her eyes are a deep emerald while her clothing is usually comprised of something with the color blue. Other than that, she just looks like your run-of-the-mill teenager. Yep yep! Alter Ego’s Appearance: Cim is a humanoid being looking something like a chibi Angewomon on Digimon. o.O Her long hair is the color of starlight, her eyes are a bright emerald green, and she always carries a care-free looking expression on her face. (Almost the exact opposite of Cesia) Her outfit looks somewhat like an oriental kimono, with the bow forming huge wings in the back. Also, she has very small feet which seem to never touch the ground, and her hands are usually hidden within her long sleeves. History: Cesia more or less has... had an interesting past. o.O She bought the controller after she found a Playstation at a yard sale. Once she found out what it could do, she has used it as an escape from reality. And it's worked. Quote: Name: Duke 2.0 RP Name: Roger Fox Age: 22 Alter Ego’s Name: Wanda Alter Ego’s Race: Human Play Time(AE’s Age): Newborn Controller Type(Playstation, Joystick…): X-Box Move List(Button Combinations): Modular(Basicly, if you hold grab and attack she will grab onto something and stab it. Grab a block and move at the same time and she will drag it. Change weapon in front of something that can be picked up then attack and she will throw it.) Appearance: Roger is quite an odd character. Five feet eight inches, skinny limbed with a good muscle tone. His dark skin shows his African heritage, and the British accent does not help much. He often wears his maroon hoodie and Parkour Club T-shirt, either jeans or cargo pants being his pants. While all his clothes look weathered, his Nikes are always seemingly fresh and new, with an extra pair in his backpack. Heck, that thing has everything from ropes to snacks. He often goes days at a time with out shaving, so he has a Muslum boy-style sideburns. Alter Ego’s Appearance: Wanda is based heavily on a particular game from the PS2, which is odd considering the X-Box controller. She has a dull red hair that is held together by strings of sapling strands woven together, falling into an oversized hoodie in the back. Her animal hide shirt and vest are covered by a lartge square shaped poncho, with strange designs on it and tasles on the ends. Her face is chinese in origin, and her skin has a dark coppery tint to it. Her pants only make it down to her knees, where the sandal straps take over the lower legs. On her left hip is a scabbard, and behind the hair hoodie is a composite bow. History: Roger is not a particularly well-off person. Barely graduating from Highschool in the UK, he decided to put his good strength and dexterity to the max, by climbing mountains. This of course is expensive, and he needed to get a job. Thus he has spent the past few years floating from job to job, 'till he found a school for teaching parkour to teens. The instructor hired him and let him live in the apartment above the school, nd that is where he lived for a few years making money. After a while, the instructor wished to open up a new school and make a chain of schools for teaching parkour. Thus Roger was sent to start a new school in the town of New Joy. Special Notes: Wanda is based off of the mistranslation of the name Wander, the hero of "Shadow of the Colossus." She only has a few moves added to what can be done in that game, but other than that she has no super moves. She also speaks a kind of backwards Chinese, but videogame characters being videogame characters she can read and write in English. Zyxa Name: Zyxa RP Name: Aaron Fortright Age: 15 Alter Ego’s Name: Justice Red Alter Ego’s Race: Human Play Time(AE’s Age): 744 hours (1 month) Controller Type: Playstation Move List: Red Hot Palm!~ X, X, X Releases a burst of fiery punches. Can be stringed into other moves. Red Fist!~ X+Traingle A slow move, deals heavy damage. Can be stringed from Red Hot Palm! Red Hot Kick!~ Circle, Circle A rapid flurry of kicks. Can be stringed into other moves. Dead Red...~ Backwards+Square A strong blocking move. Erects a wall of fire between Justice Red and opponent. Those who touch it suffer heavy fire damage. Revolver!!~ Forward, Forward+Square Must be stringed from Dead Red... Sends the barrier as a crashing wave of flame. Very heavy damage, slow set up. Red hot Justice!!~ Backwards, Down, Forward, X, X, X, X, Square Strongest move. Rushes opponent at such high speed that Justice Red himself bursts into flames. All moves performed after Red Hot Justice!! deal nearly double damage. Can be stringed to other moves. Appearance: Aaron is a fairly stalky boy, skinny for his age. It doesn't look like he plays too many sports, but it is more than apparent that he plays a lot of video games. His hair is an oddly shaded dirty blonde and his eyes are a deep blue. He's roughly 5'6'' and tends to wear an orange shirt layered over a white shirt with blue jeans, often very causally. Keeps his AEC on his back pocket at all times. Alter Ego’s Appearance: Justice Red has an appearance that almost resembles a Power Ranger, specifically the red one. He wears skin tight red latex with a large, silver "J" emblem on his chest. His face is covered by a similar latex mask that only has a black visor to let him see. He wears silver gloves and boots with a black trimming, as well a silver mouth-guard that protects his mouth as he shouts his ridiculous catch phrases during battle. As a finishing touch, he has a long flowy red cape-like scarf similar to a ninja's. History: Aaron is a nerd. One that played too many video games at that. He loved fighting games and he loved any game about super heroes. Growing up, he had always idolized what they stood for: Standing up for those who need it, always being fair and just, and being a good citizen in general. Not surprisingly his ideals tended to get him into trouble. But it never mattered to Aaron, he was content knowing he did the right thing. One afternoon he was playing a fighting game with a friend when one of the controller’s broke from their ridiculous button mashing. They never played competitively, so they had never taken the time to learn actual moves. So they went to the nearest game store and started rummaging through the used bin for a controller they could use when Aaron happened across a Playstion controller that was colored differently that most. Even more odd was that there was a big "AE" where there usually was the little Playstaion logo. A slip of paper then fluttered down from nowhere. Confused by where it had come from, he finally decided to just pick it up. And it was then he realized, after reading the manual, that his secret fantasy of becoming a super hero could finally be realized. Ever since, he practiced hard with his Alter Ego, intent on measuring up to his idols. Special Notes: Justice Red's move all involve fire, and as a result, even blocking his attacks will still deal at least fifteen percent of their regular damage. Draqx Name: Draqx RP Name: Draqx Age: 22 Alter Ego’s Name: Gordon Freeman Alter Ego’s Race: Human Play Time(AE’s Age): Almost a decade Controller Type: (LogosTeK Prototype) Keyboard and Mouse combo Move List: World Use and Weapons Use. Weapons and console command list. http://planethalflife.gamespy.com/View.php?view=HLGameInfo.Detail&id=8&game=4 http://planethalflife.gamespy.com/View.php?view=tfcgameinfo.detail&id=6 http://planethalflife.gamespy.com/View.php?view=HL2Guides.Detail&id=3&game=3 ]http://planethalflife.gamespy.com/View.php?view=HL2Strategies.Detail&id=1&game=3Appearance: 180cm 100kg Hazel eyes and 200+mm M.A.D. Scientest hair. Often seen in a lab coat and wearing a backpack. Also one report of wearing an odd suit Alter Ego’s Appearance: History: Draqx hails from the north where he was approached my a technitian of the LogosTek company to help design, produce, and test prototype computer perifials. When the Alter Ego Controllers started appearing the LogosTek company were interested in the possible applications and created a new division to research the phenomena. Draqx and the tech that got him hired were one of the more succesful of the new division. Special Notes: LogosTek has tried to duplicate the means by which the AE controllers work, but to no practical effect, the closest they have gotten is using large amounts of energy to power the reaction, they are close to marketing this product as part of a fixed based system suitable for home or large arena use. The Prototype controllers are far more bulky, being power hungry and not nearly as mobile as a pure AEC. Because of the prototypes being built around an original AEC they have some of the ability and feature uses of a normal AEC, but they have features and abilities of thier own. The production line models however only have a few features and are thus more limited. Mew Ron Name: Mew Ron RP Name: Cooper Trace Age: 20 Alter Ego’s Name: Trace Alter Ego’s Race: Shifter Play Time: Two Weeks Controller Type: Multi-Axis X-Box (jointed so that it's halves can be rotated and angled independantly) Move List: Human Form- Hold L+R for two seconds Primal Form- Hold L+R and press any non-directional or start/select button to assume various animal forms. Half-Beast- Repeat primal combo while in animal form to engage Half-Beast mode. Top of The Food Chain- Forward+Forward+Black to draw chain whip weapon. Nature's Wrath- Back+Forward+Black to unleash primal forms unique power. Appearance: Coop is a tan young man with a mane of long black hair and gray eyes, typically dressed in casual, loose fitting clothes. Generally a band shirt and a pair of jeans. Alter Ego’s Appearance: Whilst in human form, Trace is dressed in a simple dark blue long coat, with a padded sleeveless shirt underneath, and a loose pair of black pants and boots that match. His hair is a bright shade of blue, but his eyes remain gray until he shifts his form, at which point they glow the same shade of blue as his hair. History: Cooper lead a somewhat quiet life, despite his hobbies, but had not real curses or blessings. He graduated highschool a year early, and was college bound until the money he was making from a summer job became too alluring. With a steady stream of extra income, he started a small collection of "toys" ranging from several musical instruments, several new games systems and accessories to boot, and his favorite, a fully customized computer, built from the board up on his own and capable of playing console games. By chance or fate, in the past few weeks, Coop won an online auction for the final piece to his dream machine, a top of the line multi-axis wireless controller to play all his favorite games with. It took him a bit of time to realize what it really was, but the fact it was an AEC wasn't disappointing. Special Notes: In his button combinations, Coop can use the unique joints of his controller in place of holding the left and right triggers, though on a more standard controller, he has to hold them to engage his shifting ability. Zyxa Name: Zyxa RP Name: Samuel Valentine Age: 17 Alter Ego’s Name: Blood Alter Ego’s Race: Demon Play Time(AE’s Age): 26280 hours (Three years) Controller Type: Light Gun and Action Pedal (Like from Time Crisis arcade games) Move List: One press of Action Pedal~ Take Cover Two presses~ Jump Shoot the Ground~ Switch Weapon Pass the Gun~ Gun Rave Appearance: Samuel has a very unassuming appearance. He has jet black hair, and a narrow face. His nose his long, but somewhat flat. His eyes have developed severe bags, and it almost looks like he wears too much eye-liner, when in truth he just doesn't sleep. His eyes a dull shade of gray, and just seem very depraved, like they can suck out your soul if you stare at them for too long. He often wears pretty boring clothing, opting for a simple t-shirt sans graphics in just solid shades like gray comboed with some pretty ratty looking jeans with rips and slightly torn hems around his ankles. He wears the similar drab sneakers, and the only defining quality that would make anyone notice Samuel at all is his signature gray baseball cap, but the crest of the team looks as if it was torn out and replaced by a patch that reads "SAINTS BARE BLOOD" in creepy red font that looks as if it was dripping right off the hat. Alter Ego’s Appearance: Blood, despite his name, is a very solid being. Pitch black, it's almost looks as if Blood were merely Samuel's own shadow that grew the classic Devil horns and tail, a dark, sentient shade capable of laying waste to hundreds at a time. He has a smooth and slender body that matches Samuel's equally small frame, though somewhat taller, as if looming over him. History: Samuel Valentine is quite the enigma. Many people have claimed that the first AE ever seen in New Joy was in fact a shadow-like devil similar to Blood, and most have assumed the two are the same, but this is unconfirmed. Samuel's history is often debated amongst those who know of his existence, but none are for sure. A lot of people even say that they went to the same school as him, and that he did pretty good in almost all of them. But he was quiet, not many people noticed that he dropped out during his last year of highschool. Special Notes: Samuel gets little to no sleep on a regular basis and he rarely activates his AEC, mumbling to himself phrases similar to "You won't get that from me..."

Rules 1. You may have multiple characters. If you do, try not to have more than three and to distinguish them from each other by changing their text style to avoid confusion. 2. Try to keep the story moving ^^ Everything in the name of story development! =D Always try to keep the story moving, at all costs. But don’t go over board and spawn a million NPCs XP 3. Once you submit your bio, your moves are locked in! Just the way video games work, so sue me XD But if something happens in the story line, then I'll probably let you change it :3 4. This is the most important rule. Have fun =D

Lem walked the backs streets as he watched his displayscreen list resent AE sightings. He removed his shades as the screen died and looked around. He had been at this for awhile now. He wasn't sure why he was even in this town, but he felt he needed to be there. Leaving the alleyway, he disappeared amoungst others on the mainstreets.

Cesia made her way through the crowds at a regular pace. She seemed to be working very hard to keep looking straight forward, as if determined to get her to destination. However, to one who would observe her more, she was trying hard not to acknowledge the little child-like creature following her.
"Come on, won't you talk to me??" The little girl was floating an inch from the ground right beside Cesia, waving her small hand in front of her face. Cesia just ignored it.
"Awwww, you're being so mean!! Why're you ignoring me, Cessy??" When her question wasn't answered, the creature started floating back and forth around her, "Whywhywhywhwyhwywhywhwywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhy-"
Stopping, the human girl rushed into an abandoned alley. After making sure the coast was clear, she turned around, "Ugh, why can't YOU just... go back into your controller.. thing? Or just fly off some where. I'm not your master or anything. I set you free. You can do as you wish, now." And leave me be Her thought added to the last sentence, but she kept it to herself. Cesia wondered if others could see this little AE. At least she was human-looking enough, and in the crowd, they couldn't really see her floating. Though, she still looked kind of odd. Just twenty minutes ago, she had used it for the first time, bringing to life her 'alter ego'. She didn't believe it would happen. Though, now that it did, she seemed a little.... disappointed. It said that it would bring out the person you truly are inside. She was anxious to see it; she thought it would be something silent, heroic, and just overall awe-striking. But this.... How could a little floating talkative hyper child be her inner soul?? It just made no sense. The AE must've been broken. No wonder it was at a yard sale.
The little girl looked at her, "But you ARE my master. And I can't go back into my controller without you telling me to..." She paused and sniffed, small beads of tears welling in her eyes, "You... you don't like me, Cessy?"
Ack, no! She didn't want to make the little girl cry. Hesitant as to what to do, she stole a glance around. Darn, that was another problem, though... She had realized it halfway down the block from her house, that she had dropped the instructions somewhere. Ugh, what was she getting herself into?
"Look... oh, please don't cry." Kneeling down, she looked at the small child, "I don't dislike you... I'm sorry. I guess I was taken by surprise, is all." She flashed a reassuring smile, having no idea if any of this was helping or not, "I'm still a little new at this, I guess."
To her fortune, the AE had ceased crying, and was looking up at Cesia, "So... you don't hate me?"
"Of course not. But.." She looked back out the alley. She had to retrace her steps and find her missing paper, "... we really need to find those instructions. I daresay I lost them somewhere." Though I don't know if they're still even there, with all these people around

WHAM!
The echoes of teenagers falling on dark blue mats in a large gym was a welcome noise to Roger. Sure they either had their rap music blasting around their ears or their little noses buried beneath a Manga book, but they were still teens. Teens with odd American accents. Roger just sighed and looked over to where a line of kids were trying their best to jump from the top of one padded wall to another three feet away. Okay, a line is an understatement. There were only three kids doing it, and about seven total in his class. He guessed that parkour is more popular in the UK than here. Before he knew it the class was over and the kids were filing out the door towards their parents cars. Roger shook his head in a proud amusement, and scanned the gym for anything the kids left behind. It only took him a second to see a controller on the mats. Now what a kid was doing with a game controller in his backpack was beyond him. He sprinted over to it and rushed outside with it, questioning the kids who were still there. Every one of their little heads shook and turned back to their parents cars, except for one who rushed up to him. "Mr. Fox, you can keep it. I think the darn things busted." Rodger just scoffed at the little boy. "'Ey, you think I clean up for you guys all the time? I'll do it for you this time, but don't go expecting me to do it every time." "Yes sir." And with that, he ran off to his mothers white Mercury. Rodger shook his head again, and headed back into the gym with the apparently broken controller.
It only took him a few moments to find an instruction manual in his hands. He was puzzled by how it got there, and looked over the controller for any compartments it could have fallen out of. Nothing, nothing except for the wire coiled around it. Clicking his tounge in confusion, he proceeded to read the instructions. "Pish! Bull-crap." He flung the piece of paper into the wastebasket, and continued to his apartment above the gym. Turning on the lights in the twilight of the evening, he threw the controller into his bed snd started to work on the taxes. He never noticed that throwing it onto his bed made it turn on. This fact he would not take note of 'till dawn, when he is rudely awoken.

The full moon Shone bright on the city. Lem walked alone down an empty street past a group of homeless men living in boxxes and surounding a fire in a garbage can. Lem decided to walk away from them when they shoot him ugly looks. To the sout was the subarbs and where most of the people who worked in the city lived. He turned and head down to the residential area's. Large apparments and restraunts with appartments above them where everywhere on the street. He took out his controller and Rim appear walking next to him. Rim seemed larger and more creature like. " The real full moon is just two days away." he said watching the Werewolf eye the moon. Rim held his hands the pockets of his over coat. " Your point?" he growled and closed his eyes. Lem shook his head and sighed. " We have to learn how to control it. If we don't, then you mig-" Rim growled over Lem's statement. The wolfman glared at Lem before turning away. " Goodnight Rim." Lem said pocketing the AEC and watching Rim vanish.

"Time for another patrol!" Aaron giggled to himself as he pulled his controller from his pocket. "Who needs our help tonight?" He ran up the stairs of his apartment. They always gave him the creeps, like something died in there and people forgot to clean it up. He tried not to think about it as he raced to roof.
The night sky was brilliant, lit up by the flickering stars and moon. Aaron's pace slowed as he fell into awe of the city's glimmering beauty. The warm glow that flowed from the moon seemed just perfect tonight. Aaron shook his head as he remembered why he'd come up to the roof in the first place. "Now time to protect the innocent citizens of New Joy!" He chimed to himself. Scooting over to the edge of the building he ducked beneath the little fence that stopped people from haplessly falling over and peered through the bars to the ground below. He smiled as he held his controller in his hand and the bars of the fence in the other as he looked down. This must be what a super hero feels when he flies! he joked to himself. He looked up and down the street before nodding his head in content. "Looks like all is well for the citizens of New Joy-"
"Help!! My purse!" Shrieked a woman, breaking the peaceful night.
Aaron smirked. "Justice will be served!" No sooner had he said that did a well-built man clad in red latex jump out of the controller in his hand and off the roof top to the ground below.
"There is no greater force than our fiery justice!"

Cesia slumped hopelessly on a bench as the crowd went by. With the night laying thick upon the city and the crowds thicker, it was almost hopeless to find that piece of paper she had dropped. The small girl stood beside her, observing the people with pure fascination.
"There's so many of them!! How do you tell each other apart...?"
Not answering, she got back to her feet and, motioning the girl (whom she just recently decided to dub "Cim") to follow, began walking back towards her apartment. Oh, well. Looked like she'd have to figure things out for herself.
"Maybe you could get help from another AE owner. Right? That shouldn't be too hard." Cim suggested with a smile.
"That would work, if I knew anyone with an AE. Honestly, I haven't heard of any of this until just a few hours ago, so - as far as I know-"
"What about that cool red one that just passed by?"
Cesia stopped and looked down at the girl, "What? Red one?!"
With an excited smile, she exclaimed, "Yeah! Up there!! It was tall and dressed in a red costume and it just flew over the roof of that building over there with a FWOOOOSH and shouted something like 'There is no greater force than justice' and then-
"Are you sure?" That sounded more like a cheesy scene from Power Rangers than anything else. "I didn't hear anything," With a fleeting glance around, she added, "And it doesn't seem like anyone else caught sight or sound of this thing, either."
"Well, it was!" Her countenance displayed a determination to prove her point. To further this, she took hold of Cesia's hand and began pulling it along, "Here, I'll show you. It's right across those three streets!!
Following along, Cesia viewed ahead. Cim heard some guy from three blocks away? That seemed quite unlikely... Well, then again, considering her ability to float, maybe that meant that she had acute hearing, too??
Really, this thing was taking an incredibly long time for her to make sense of...

It was enough that the bright lights of his room turned on, but the yelp of suprise that came from the kitchen forced him to open his eyes.
The second a crack of his eyes opened a relentless attack of light pounded his wide-open irises, causing a spike of pain to shoot through his head. His hands darted to his face to ceace the fiere intrusion, and to help him decide what he was going to do to the fool who woke him up at night in his apartment. After about a minute, he was out of bed and creeping through the hall to the kitchen. What he saw in there made him reconsider his plan of grabbing a spatula and beating a burglar with it. It was some Chinese girl, in clothes that were very strange. Like something that would be worn in the old ages. Or a homeless bum, there really is no difference. Same bathing habits. This girl young woman, however, seemed very higenic. She was going through the cabnets and marveling at the shiny bowels. Almost like she was not used to metal being used this way. All this time she was muttering some strange languange, Chinese he figured by her looks. He had never heard Chinese, so he would not know that this is not it. This is where he made his first big mistake, leaping out and suprising her. You see, there was one feature he did not take note of. The medium-sized sword she had to her side. He only saw her right side, so he could not possibly see the weapon. The speed in which she took it out and had it under his chin made him stop in suprised shock, soon turned to horror. He would have run away at that time, if not for the young lady scrunching up her face as if she reconized him. In the good way, not the bad "You killed my parents" way. "等待,你是谁? 我知道你!" "Uhh, Me speaka Englesh?" Sure it was a pitiful attempt, but what the hell. The young woman looked at him quizically, then put her sword back in its holder...thing. Whatever it was called. Rodger was not interested in the past of his country of birth, so he was never interested in swords and bows and castles. The young woman frowned and looked him over, apparently what people do when they take a good look at their new partner. He knew that look, the one from those isolated climbers who have never seen dark skin before. He had heard there were people out there that have never seen somebody with his skin before, but he never assumed one would be from thia area. If she was from this area. The woman had turned away from him while he was thinking over this, and had written down something on a piece of paper. Shoving it into his face, he knew there was something odd about this girl. She could not speak English, but she could write in it? My name is Wanda. You are my master. You must take me to the Colossi across the land to slay them.
Oh-kay. NOW this was taking a turn for the worse. Whatever this young woman was talking abhout, it must have something to do with her severe mental problems.

The crimson hero streaked down the street, pumping his arms and legs like a character from a cheesy children's show. He eventually stopped and raised a hand as if telling the man to stop, with what seemed like a fiery aura glowing from him. "Halt, villain, in the name of Justice!" the red-clad hero shouted. The purse snatcher continued running. Aaron was trying to get the best view as possible from where he was sitting a few blocks away, but it was sorta hard to make out what was happening.
"Outta my way, fruit cake!" the mugger spat as he attempted to shove the man out of the way, only to fall to ground clutching his hands as he screamed in pain. The gloves on the mugger's hands had caught fire when they tried to push the hero, only confusing him more. As he wreathed on the cold cement, spitting curses in between yelps of pain, he managed, "Who the hell are you?"
Aaron smirked. "I am the Justice Red! The embodiment of Flaming Courage!"
