The Clash for the Digital Oasis~ 4 members

[Kira the wanderer]

The breeze shifted, running chilly over the round cheeks of a teen. It tickled and played, moving on before attention could be given to it. The breeze... was it real or just another thing of imitation? Had it actually been there? Kira rolled over to her left side, squashing an idle arm. The long twining weeds poked her nose with the grass, a dandilion wavered in front of her with a gentle hello. She smiled, her eyes half open in a sleepy daze. Taking in a deep breath, she slowly released it. It was so calm and peaceful, the soft sound of rustling nature was all to be heard.

Then it started to rain Potatoe Chips.

"Noooo! Its the last bag! You ate them all, Kira brought them especially for me. I can't believe you did that. Kira, Kira, Kiiiiira." A familiar whining drove the serenity to commit suicide.

Kira sat up, chuckling half-heartedly. Placing one hand on her knee and the other to run through some strands of her orange hair, she glanced over to pudgy little Digimon-- her beloved partner Patamon. Adjacent to that one was his anything-but-identical twin, Sunshinemon. It was a typical day, filled with their typical mild-mannered chaos.

"Come on, you two. Those snacks are hard to find. The Real World is in shambles, what i came with is what I got. Now either you guys share or become a pair of real Digimon, okay?" Her palm patted down on Patamon's head.

A yellow Digimon, a tad bit pudgey with long flappy ears, snuck into Kira's bag as she spoke with his brother. Sunshinemon's long tail twitched, the little bit of red fuzz at the end moved with the breeze. Mumbling something, it got his tamer's attention from inside her bag. The teen pulled him out, it was often it would get stuck inside. Laughing, Sunshinemon started to nibble at a pack of devil food snacks.

"You've got quite the sweet tooth." Kira said, though not so much in a pleased way. However, she still did love to spoil her partners. It was they who she really trusted, the only ones she could hold dear.

Patamon flew ontop of her head, letting his ears stick out to the sides for shade. Kira zipped her backpack shut, tossed the right strap over her should, and it was time to move again.

Kira gazed across the medow. It was large and thriving with life, digital life. Every so often at moments such as those, she would loose herself in awe at the vastness of data. Every fiber of artifical landscape seemed as real as the world her family had left behind, without the toxic poison that had destroyed it. The clouds were forming by the horizon like they did at dusk, evern though it was still early in the day.

Patamon fluttered down from her head, siding with his brother. Their eyes had narrowed and the pair became very still. Suddenly, the little pile of yellow fluff--Sunshinemon--pulled Kira away in a savage jolt. Momentarily unaware of what was happening or where she was, being lost in thoughts of the past, the Tamer rolled down a hill sheilding her partner in her arms. Popping her head up instantaneously, the immense vibration coming from her waist could only mean one thing.

"Boom Bubble!" The attack echoed in the air. Kira felt the weight of Sunshinemon hunched on her shoulder, his ears sticking out and the soft growling coming from with, as her Digivice went insane with a high pitched wail.

"Help him out!" No sooner than a second after Kira cried out was her second Digimon partner shooting off her limb. The Tamer followed, fast and agile. Something about her movements reeked of experience, while her tactics may have been veiwed as inexperienced.

A shadow descended, flying directly in the veiw of the sun overhead. Kira squinted, trying to make out what it was they were up against. She grabbed the digivice, which showed the enemy on the screen. The long blue body and skull head were undeniable markings of an Airdramon.

"We can take it!"

The two swordsmen,(( err Sword-Teen and Digimon)), Were on the cliff still. Jin was lying down with Kotemon next to him. They were looking up at the sky and the digital clouds. The teen closed his eyes to rest.
Suddenly the ears of Kotemon twitched and he turned his helmented head towards it. He looked back at his human campanion.

~ Hmm...maybe I should'nt wake Jin up for every little thing this time...I should check it out my self!~ He thought and tightened his fist, casuing the long sleeve of his kendo yakata to bunch up. Kotemon sat up, then crawled closer to the end of the cliff.

His yellow eyes squinted. They soon widen when Kotemon recongized An Airdamon attacking what seemed to be three beings.
He leaned closer, keeping a balance not to fall off the cliff.

The Kendo digimon saw a patamon, a sunshinemon...and another human!
"Another Human?! I should tell Jin, I'd bet he'd love to meet up with her...Plus she's prety cute for him Heh-he" He said to himself, he turned around to look at Jin then back at the Airdramon unsure what to do.

He was going to turn back and walk over to Jin to wake him, but the part of the cliff he was on give way.
Kotemon Blinked and looked down as he felt his feet slowly lose their support, then gravity took over.

"YAHHHHHHHHHHH" He cried out his eyes tearing furiously.
He got closer and closer to the ground then the next thing to happen was Kotemon landed ontop of the Airdramon's skulled head. Then he hit the ground rubbing his helment.
"Ouch...That hurt" He whined.

(I apologize for having not been on. Work is quite cruel. I should be good for a while though.)

Kira watched as the Airdramon flinched, seemingly baffled for a fraction of time. As though utterly ignoring the thud upon its head, the massive creature seemingly unhinged its jaw with so large an opening. The girl, who looked unsure by her expression but was quite contradictory to that in action, leaping up and catching Patamon who had been hurled from the air.

The rows of jaggety teeth steming out from the flying lizard's mouth were ready to peirce, the end of the tail had had its fun knocking the Rookie from the sky.

"You okay?" The words slipped through her mouth so quickly they practically melted. Patamon replied through a simple action.

"Patamon Shinka!" A glow and digital bubble morphed around the tiny Digimon, cracking open to its new form. It wasn't expected, the result, but the new level was one predicted.

"Meteor Shower..." The sky churned from harmless landscape to a blazing night, a thousand falling stars crashing down onto the Airdramon's back.

Sunshinemon was fixated on the thing on the beast's head, quickly jumping up and catching a waver of breeze with its long expandable ears. Gliding ontop in the midst of danger, the Rookie sheilded the Kotemon from its brother's attacks.

Coughing from the cloud of dusk which had swirled and curled itself around the surroundings, Kira slowly let down the arms she had risen to protect her eyes. There was a moment of nothing and then a distinct moment of fear. Starmon landed beside her, saying nothing but looking back. Someone was watching, with a Gomamon. The Airdramon, however, was the key focus.

"Sunshinemon? Sunshinemon?!" Kira frantically called when she did not see her partner, but only the residue of metors. A little orange head rolled off of the subdued Airdramon's back. It had large ears, red markings on its cheeks and a long tail sprouting fuzzy on its end.

There was a sigh of relief. Kira quickly jolted over and picked up her partner, now as In-training. It smiled in spite of his state, having lost his previous stage to protect the Kotemon.

Then Airdramon opened its eyes.
