Haha, Isis and Athena were the only ones that I really got.

There has been a bit of an uproar about a couple of them though, especially the Hindu Goddess. And apparently the arms aren't even under the correct name (it was a different God/Goddess). I'm not that hot with Hindu mythology though.

Yea, I don't know much about Hinduism either.

And not to nit-pick the item, but wasn't Hathor much more associated with the cow-horns and the solar disk? True, in some depictions Isis did have them, but by-and-large most of the depictions of Isis show her with that throne (her namesake) on top of her head, and no horns or solar disk.

Horns are definately Hathor's, although you could give Isis a sundisc, so while it might fit someone else better it could be associated with her, since she is a predominant figure.

I think that more people got upset about the Hindu one because it's still a living religion, so they felt it was disrespectful to muck up the Gods.

On a side note, the wings used for the Isis ones look exactly like the tattoo I'm going to get, only it will be a scarab beetle with those wings. whee

Ah, japanese mythology. This is where I come in.

I could be wrong about this but I don't think Kaguya hime was a Goddess. Or at least she never was worshiped as one. She was a princess that came from the moon. That's it.
