Hehe. They both played/are playing at Big Day Out. Maybe they met there, yesterday at some point and I dunno, it was an act of fate or something? xp Yeah, I dont really like My Chemical Romance either.

I really F***ing hate MCR. They're one of the worst bands ever to walk the face of the earth, and that's an understatement. In fact I hate them so much that if I were ever holding me in interegation, all they would have to do would be make me listen to MCR and I'd talk. They suck almost as much as Fall Out Boy, which just has a whole catagory for itself because it sucks so much.
Point being, besides my ever growing hatred for emo bands and they're sucktastic "music," if Muse was ever stupid enough to tour with MCR, they have obviously lost all of their intelligence, are probably braindead therefore incapable of producing good music, and should be put out of their misery. By me. On second thought, I'd shove MCR off of the face of the earth, then see if Muse is released from their spell of suckiness. If they're not, I'll beat them with guitars over the head until they regain their sense of decent music. If that doesn't work, Muse is beyond all hope.
I really hate emo bands. More than you can ever imagine. This is yet another reason why that rant thread needs to be revived.

Ick, I've already freaked out over this. I'd really want to go and see Muse, but I don't want to have to sit through however long crap mcr is playing for. And the tickets might be more expensive and it would be overloaded with mcr fans wanted to see their precious band.
The only tiny brightside is there's more of a chance I'd get to see Muse at all...since I have some friends who would go with me if MCR was there, and I can't really go alone. But I don't really know if it's worth it. O.O

I don't like my chemical romance either, but let your motivation to sit through their entire show be that Muse is coming up next! That thought should be pleasant enough to endure the crappy songs my chemical romance will bring smile

I'm not so worried about sitting through it (though that will be horrible enough), but more the fact that there will be a lot of MCR fans that would go, and take up the spots. Therefore, it would be harder to get tickets, and once you're there, to get to the front. It's hard enough to compete against Muse fans for the amazing barrier spot, I don't want to fight with the legions of MCR fans too.

I agree with Daperen. Most MCR fans are usually not the brightest people in the world and most of them are emo wanna-bes. I've always thought there was something different about Muse fans. (We're specialler.) And I don't want Muse's brilliantabulousness to be exposed and wasted to the eyes of the MCR fans. MCR is alright, but they're too mainstream and overrated (starting to turn into another Green Day) I don't ever want that to happen to Muse. xp
On a more off topic point, I'd reallly like to see Muse play with Rammstein, now that would be interesting. cool

No. Nono. mad I used to actually like MCR (!!!) but that was ages ago, now I don't.
But the main thing that worries me about this plan, is that they're all mainstream now and the MCR fans will outnumber the muse ones! That's not right, that's not right at all. WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS TO US? *shakes nearest poster* WHY? :O

I'd love to go to an MCR-Muse gig; and not for reasons you'd expect.
I'd grab as many Musers as I could, force them to go; and trek there in a gang. Then once Muse had finished; I'd tell half the stadium to get up and go. How awesome would that look? Muse fans getting up and leaving only 2 people to watch MCR because they bought out all the tickets. And if it was the other way; I'd tell everyone to just wait outside the actual concert bit before they'd finished. rofl It'd just be nice to make a stand and say 'nobody ******** likes you'. That and obviously to say "I witnessed a stadium full of emos" when you leave all of like...3 people in there with MCR XD

That would be pretty awesome, Skye. XD I think MCR is the opening act, or so the rumour goes, so it would be wait outside (although that would mean really crappy spots. Since this is the North American tour they're planning on going with MCR on, there /is/ no seats). And also, here there wouldn't be just 3 people who wanted to see MCR, there are way more people who actually like them than there are Muse fans. Actually, besides people who heard of them through me, there's only 3 people in my entire 2000ish people school who had even /heard/ of Muse (that I know of, of course. One being the guy who went to the same concert as me, and another girl who told me she liked them when she saw my muse shirt...and this kid in my music class who knows who they are but doesn't like them).
But if this MCR/Muse thing was over there in Britain, it would be awesomely hilarious. XD Here, though...gah.

Yeah; you've got a point there.
It's scary though. A few years ago; if you walked around and spoke of Muse; people would be absolutely dumbstruck. Ever since SMBH you've got people saying "Muse? Oh yeah they're the ones that did SMBH". Years 7s too.
WTF. Muse did more than just SMBH. It's pathetic really. These people make me sick. XD I wish I lived over there razz

Ick. The only one that age that knows who Muse is around here is my sister. rofl I hatehatehate it when people just think the band only did one song or a few singles. They've done more than that! Gah! Especially when people pretend to be huge fans of a band when they've only heard the couple of singles on the radio. eek
Well you get singles and magazines on time and cheaper. XP But we have the smaller concerts/no kids going 'oooh yeah they did that one song!'

rofl rofl Hmm...Magazines or no 'Im a bigggg fan of muse. What's that lead singer's name again?' randomness. Eugh. Whenever people ask me Matt's name and claim to be big fans; I could punch them.
cool
I suppose I could ignore all of them and take the magazines...Ill just have to learn to get used to it. Failing that I could go to scotland or somewhere. Wales. They never play in Wales. whee (Or do they? ninja )

We get the magazines, just late and more expensive, even after the currency conversion and such. But do we get singles at all? Nope. Not even the ones that were supposed to be released here (like KoC around the time you had SMBH over there....)
How can they claim to be a fan without even knowing the lead singer's name?!?! Especially if they're claiming to be a big fan. Gahhhh.
(but if you go somewhere were they never play, you'd never be able to see them. surprised And that wouldn't be good.)

surprised surprised surprised You're right. I'd have to travel miiiilles to get there.
I tell you what. London. There's so many people; what are the odds of running into a Muser, really? And a hardcore one at that. 3nodding Yet Muse never play here...so why so many messed up fans? confused That doesnt make sense to me. I need to go somewhere where people are too busy involving themselves in things other than music tv.
