There're still a couple weeks left till Shadow Chronicles hits stores, and I'm sure many of you are needing your mecha fix.
So, while I was playing earlier today, I realized our other members here might be interested in a game I love for the GBA: Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation. It's an all-new storyline starring original characters and mecha from the super and real robot genres.
Some of you may be familiar with the SRW (in Japan, it goes by Wars instead of Taisen. This was changed due to trademark issues.) and know that the series is well known for crossovers from existing series. This is not the case in these games, as they star only entirely new characters and mechs.
If you like giant robots and strategy RPG, give it a shot. I love it and you might, too. Just a warning, though-- big stores like Best Buy tend not to carry it, but dedicated game stores like EB and Gamestop generally do. There're two out now, SRWOG 1 &2. 2 is technologically superior but you'll need both to enjoy it to its fullest potential.

GBAs're cheap enough ($25) used that I'd buy one to play it.
But I'm nuts, since I'd also buy a PS2 the second the remake gets announced for the US (not that it will, since I don't know how these sold).
I'm sure the Grand Admiral will second my recommendation for robot fans.

A new mecha game for DS, strategy RPG, called Front Mission was released this week. If you like that type of thing, you might want to check it out. It was made by Square Enix.
On another note, Super Robot Wars Original Generation 2 for the GBA-- which I HIGHLY recommend to ANY mecha fan-- is down to $20 at EB and Gamestop and $10 at KB Toys. The KB near me is also running a buy-one-get-one-half-off on GBA and DS games (I stopped in looking for the new Mega Man game lol, it was sold out at EB). Sadly, the titles were all decently old. But I bought two more copies of SRW. It's just that good, IMO. Wonderful plot and great strategy. Sweet mecha, too.
