As the mortals live in their un phased state, the gods actions have leaked. Their military tactics are unknown, but it is assumed they will harbor much ruthlessness. Great warriors need to be rise and claim high roles in this military. A great military of a continental alliance must be formed and each warrior is to fight for his claims. The god's army is an army of creation meaning they can always create more. So the assumption is that if the gods are slain the the armies will stop. Is it up to the Farshians to hold the divine armies at bay and fight them off until a plan is devised on how to eliminate the gods.
