The Genocide Lounge Georgi Kotav constructed the Lounge as an object example of the suffering caused by war. Each table top is laminated with newspaper articals, documenting such pain, and the posters on the walls depict scenes ranging from the War in Iraq to Genghis Khan's Mongol hordes invading eastern Europe. It's grim ambience makes the Genocide Lounge the perfect place for adventurers, mercenaries, and other dregs that litter the Underworld where this Lounge is located. Georgi Kotav wanted this place to be a quasi-safe haven for all people to come in and talk. That has not changed...
Welcome to the Genocide Lounge, I am Dr Henry Pym. Please enjoy this hang out, and discuss freely any thing your heart's (or closest thing that resembles one) desires.

Annihilation 6 comes out next week. I got the preview issue (all scanned) and all I have to say is...
Galactus jumped up a few notches in power. We finally see his power unleashed, and it's scary.
SPOILERS
OBVIOUSLY
At full power, he shot one big, omnidirectional blast and walked away. It wasn't even all his power, just a temper tantrum attack. The damage, is LUDICROUS.
In that one blast he destroys 74% of the largest armada in the universe (pretty much every army of every planet in a whole DIMENSION), at least one Watcher (cosmic entity, massively powerful. Look them up) and at least THREE STAR SYSTEMS (it wasn't even slowing down yet when it had engulfed three start systems).
Just thought this guild would like to know.

And? The Ultimate Nullifier is part of Galactus and the thing can destroy universes. That display in Annihilation 6 is no surprise.

You asked... Note: Surfer was near death the previous issue. Note: Those capsules are energy from several planets Galactus consumed before. In short, he's now at full power. Note: Drax and Moondragon were untouched. So wherever they got teleported to, it was probably another galaxy. Note Galactus' complete lack of effort. Note: That's a Watcher getting destroyed. "Three star system and does not slow." Note: Went from 46% to 34% in MID SENTENCE. It's still not slowing down. We don't get a numbers on the when the energy blast REALLY stopped but... DAMN. That was ONE attack. Galactus just walked away from it all afterwards. Richard describes it as "Galactus' little temper tantrum." Btw, consider the speed of such an attack... Several star systems in less than a day... Probably just seconds. In short, Galactus at full power is SCARY...

Btw, if you didn't follow the series... Shame. One of the most action packed, high powered cosmic stories out there. Puts Civil War to shame in terms of plot, direction, and even importance.
February 28th they're releasing the first Hardcover TPB reprint of the series (probably gonna be three or four of them). I highly, HIGH recommend picking it up.
You get to see the death of Quasar, Richard Rider's rise from little Nova to one of the most powerful beings in the universe, Super Skrull rise from villain/hero to uber badass legend, Surfer's rebirth as the new and improved Herald of Galactus, Drax finally killing Thanos (for GOOD), Ronan beating Ravenous and taking over the Kree Empire and Annihilus and Nova going toe to toe in the end...
This is an awesome comic story and would make a KICKASS animated series...

Actually, not as much as any other woman. She's always had a thing for Thanos, she just had a hard time admitting to it... Especially with him continuously doing the wrong things.

Dr Henry Pym Oh god I have to pick up these Graphic Novels... *chants*One of us! One of us! Seriously, everyone I know who's read it admits, this is the best mini of the year, and one of the best in memory. And full of badass cosmic action that make the nose bleed (I've posted Surfer v. Ravenous repeatedly in this Guild). The characters are awesome, it makes previously B-listers into awesome protagonists (everyone LOVES Ronan after reading this mini, as well as Kl'rt and Drax to a lesser extent), its only real weakness is being a little too short (so a lot of characters drop off the radar) although I guess it's better than having it being drawn out. Honestly though, the last Annihilus/Nova fight deserved its own damned issue instead of half a dozen pages. But still badass... Part two is due early May: http://www.amazon.com/Annihilation-Book-HC-Keith-Giffen/dp/0785125124/sr=8-1/qid=1169765007/ref=sr_1_1/002-3165765-9668018?ie=UTF8&s=books Worth every penny. Btw, since you clearly enjoy Hank Pym, you catch Eternals by Gaiman? Not much in the way of Pym action (other than him looking tiny next to a Celestial) but he was pretty amusing, and the series as a whole has been AWESOME...
