Well not much is known about this one other than it's a card based strategy/role playing game and it's on the DS. But hm, card based strategy/RPG? Sound familiar, like a certain GBC game Legendary Super warriors? If this is a suped up remake of that game that's gonna be awesome cus i personally loved Legendary Super warriors for the GBC, it's chibi character sprites and attack animations as well as gameplay were great and was a real treat to find on a GBC game that's for sure. As of yet no screens have been given but I hope they do soon to give us an idea what kind of game were expecting. Glad their releasing to hand-held games to hold us off till the "next generation" DB game to be announced.

I've heard the gbc game was good, only one I haven't tried but I hoping for the best too cause I have a ds and don't really want to go out of my way to get a psp to look like a dbz fanboy on the bus.

Man you have got to play LSW for a GBC game it was done very well, i think you can actually still find it as some stores but if not buy it online or download it to try it out. It's re-playability is amazing in that you can get just about every character from DB to DBZ and to get them all plus all their extra forms takes mulitpleplay throughs of the entire story and believe me, I put in hundreds of hours in the game when i was into it and i enjoyed every minute of it, addicting battle music midi's and all. I sincerely hope this is a remake of it in every way,and hey i wouldnt exactly suggest getting a psp just for shin but you really are missing out,i find it even more challenging than B3.

I've heard of that game but never played it. So it's like a RPG card game?

Yeah thats more or less pretty accurate. When in a location you can wonder around the map, talking to characters, look for more hidden cards and do other things related to the story line your in at the time. This game even features decent "what if" scenarios and there are plenty of hidden story scenarios and characters your likely to miss the first time around that require to fight certian battles with certian characters or win a certian way to unlock and play them. I havent even got SS3 goku yet so...lol The maximum level you can raise any character to is five, which doesnt sound like alot but it takes a loooong time to get them there, trust me. You have the stats Life, strength,Ki and Speed. Each time you level you have the choice to enhance one of these stats beyond the normal amount given when you level so you can focus to have that character use mostly physical strentgh or use alot of energy attacks, speed determines who goes first in a battle witch although seemingly useless is pretty dang important especially in tougher fights. Since you level up five times you have the choice of boosting your stats five times, and with five stat types i normally just evenly gave each stat a boost once.

In battle you have the choice to use the cards in your hand from your deck which range from a regular physical combo attack to special physical attacks, to lesser and bigger energy attacks and even into non-attack cards that ahve other effects like giving you a sheild against a certian type of attack or boosting a certian stat. You can also choose to use a normal attack or power up, now the physical attacks in this game are categorized by how many hit's they contain with 6 being the highest. When you choose to use a reg. physical attack card you have to press a random sequence of buttons equal to the amount of the phy. attack cards number. So let's say you use a 5 phy. card, you'll have to press a sequence like "A B B right down" and depending on the buttons used in the sequence the attack animation is different, and every character has different attack animations like trunks would do a quick jab for A then a heavy kick for B and then thrust kick them forward and then overhead two hand smash them down. To sum this up before i practically re-write the manual here, it's a very in-depth game in that the kind of customization and the range of cards to choose from offer alot of various styles to play and there attack cards for everyone for every special attack ranging from vegeta's self destruct to Gotenks Buu Buu volleyball to Goku's kaioken. The light RPG elements actually work very well and give you another added level of customization, not to mention the entire story is covered although typos are everywhere and for GBC the sprites and character portraits are very well done, so I would reccomend it to anyone here and again seeing a re-make of it on DS would add another great addition to the hand-held selection for DBZ.

"please do not let this game be SSW3, atari has allready killed the original with SSW2"

Lol I sincerely hope not,as long as they keep the same gameplay mechanics and overall idea from LSW, that is if they are in fact making this game alike to it, all they can do after that is make it better. I cant imagine the touch screen being used for much though aside from the bottom screen being used for choosing selections from a menu similiar to LSW in battle. Although I would like to see them use both screens for the entire battle screen during menu selections and definitely during attacks. Honestly that wouldve been a cool effect in SSW2,god knows they couldve done a button config to replace choosing characters and combo moves with the touch screen to switch out with.
