Intro:
Humans have lived upon the planet Earth for many long and painful years. They lived open lives, caring more about their safety and little of the worlds. There is no other wrath greater then Gaia's force. Time for man to change the way they lived ran out and they soon were attacked by the very planet who gave birth to them.
It began with towering waves of water, reaching heights greater then the length of america. Hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes and even volcanoes showed no mercy to the weakest or sickest of people. The government fell apart. All religions fell apart. Man in all its glory fell apart. Even the animals could not adapt. These were the darkest days of man, but it was not the end of them.
In retrospect, Man destroyed Man. To adapt to altered environments, they ultimately changed themsevles. Using once forbidden experiments, mankind split into six new species and three robots. These new beings came to be thanks to many practices of gene manipulation. Man would no longer walk the earth.
Woom, These were the remains of humans who once worshipped Gaia. Their ears grew larger, teeth sharper and their skin became more sensitive. The eyes lids sealed in their eyes and their nostrals sealed shut as well. Finally, long hardend hairs extended from key points around their bodys. Exremely sensitive, these could sense the slightest vibrations in the air or ground. These creatures now live underground, returning to the surface only to hunt for food.
Scarse, These beings took to the air and found homes among the highest of mountains. Even skinnier then the Woom, they could almost float in the air, thanks in part to some gasses stored within a lung shaped organ. The fingers of their hands became like talons and their feet split into an extra pair. Their eyes grew larger, ears smaller and their jaw widened. The teeth that once filled their mouth hardened into two seperate peices. A long thin stretch of skin is anchored to their waist, back and wrist of both sides. This adaption allowed flight.
