For people who are scared by the prospect of a major, somewhat cataclysmic change in the earth, and we're talking end of the world as we know it (but not necessarily the end of the world entirely), then don't read the following.

Ok
So anyway, I know from conversations in other guilds and the like that I'm not the only who thinks/knows this, but the world is in a bad state. I have a group of friends, who really are my family in a sense, and they and I have been talking about/preparing for a sort of supernatural war if you will. There has been evidence of this for a while now, including strange weather patterns, rise in chaotic violence, and strange senses of energy spikes or a cloud of static aura around (though this last one would be less obvious to the rest of the world). I won't say much about it, because I want to get different people's views on it, but what I am pretty sure of is that it will be the end of the "stable" modern world as we know it and will take place within the next few years.

The "strange" weather is simply a part of the Earth's mega weather cycles. They wax and wane throughout the eons.
We are over due for another cataclysmic event and mass extinction though. lol
As far as violence is concerned, we're not doing bad at all. There's just a much larger focus on it these days so it's up and in your face. Violence doesn't really wax or wane worldwide on any noticeable scale.

The bible has prophecised this and many things of the past. It is actually a very trustworthy prophecy at that, not all unlike my own, except for being more understandable and including more symbolism. I have a feeling this war will be started by humans feeling threatened by the astral suddenly appearing, and thus try to exterminate them. This, in turn, will anger the surviving astral creatures, and they'll attempt to exterminate our 'foul' race.

Other than the prophecies that it says were made and fulfilled, which is unreliable in terms of accuracy at best, no prophecy the Bible has ever made has been fulfilled. Unless of course you count the idea that the Psalms are a prophecy for each year leading up to Revelations, at which point they rely on being vague and ambiguous for any sense of accuracy.

We're all gonna die! jk.....
Pollution is the main cause, I believe, because there are so many factroys producing it. also George W. Bush and John Howard.....but we won't go there, okay?
I heard about it on the Australian news just last night:

My coven and i have been discussing, "the supernatural war" for a while now. We and some other people have noticed a distubance in the worlds aura (kinda lol i dont know what you call it) but we havent been the only people to notice it obviuosly lol

I feel that it will be coming in this life and it will be great. well i dunno if its gunna be great in a positive sense ._. though there are scientific reasons for the heavy environmental changes magick is science of a diferent kind and both worlds /can/ intereact. therefore, even though you can explain the environment scientifically, it doesnt cross out those who work directly with it, as it has always been.. anyways just wanted to say that there doent have to be two opposing sides =P and i agree; the worlds' not been in a good place for the past fifty years and even further back. scary if ytou thin kof just how much things have changed in the past years. makes you think how quickly we'll keep progressing....leading to this 'war' idea, paranormal or not damn nuclear bombs >_____<*

As the Emerald Tablet says: "The Above is the same as the Below and the Below is the same as the Above."
Which could be taken to mean that earthly turmoil equates to astral turmoil, but that doesn't necessarily mean that one will spill into the other as they aren't seperate to begin with. Both are of the cohesive whole.
If there is a great cataclysm coming then I feel it's ultimately for the better of all involved, despite the possible termination of earthly lives. Believe it or not, the Universe (God, if you will) has not forsaken us, only those that have forsaken it.

Every generation has had an impending doom complex. That doesn't mean the end of the world is coming. End of the world as we know it? The world changes every day. The world as we knew it ended when we graduated grade school, discovered sexuality, experienced our first death, etc.
Also, as previously stated in the thread, weather changes are part of a natural cycle. We're in the middle of a change between a warm period and possibly a new mini ice age, just like what happened in the 1800's.
Of course, according to history, about every 200 years there's a major revolution of some kind, so we ARE overdue for that. But I doubt it'll have anything to do with the astral since most people do not acknowledge it. If the astral were to sudddenly present itself, I think people would be more inclined to ignore it or explain it away than to suddenly declare war on it.
Then again.... *shrug*
