1. General Guild Guidelines
2. RP Rules
3. World Map

This guild is not just for owners of pets, others will RP/make journals and the like here, too. There are a few basic rules of the guild for you to follow so everyone gets along. Just because its not listed here, doesn't mean its acceptable. Use common sense and logic, please. Remember, we reserve the right to refuse/ban anyone from the guild for poor behavior or otherwise.

1. Be kind to one another. No flaming or otherwise poor behavior. If you have an issue, PM the mule.
2. Set up your own logs/directories (in the journals forum)
- [L] for a roleplay log (if this is not part of your journal)
- [D] for a directory (a place to simply store your pets and info on them)
- To get a journal, PM the mule with your dragon's picture
3. Keep to all gaia TOS and rules.
4. Do not set up threads that are unrelated to the shop and/or topic of dragons.

We all enjoy an RP every now and then, some more than others. Keeping this in mind, there are those of us with more experience than others. Because of this we should keep a kind and open mind towards those whose posts are not a hundred miles long. Everyone has their own style and level of experience. Rping is meant to be fun, and no one should be left out regardless of skill level.

Here are a few things to remember when setting up threads and so forth.

1. Always remember that character views are not necessarily players views. Do not take an attack towards a character as an attack towards yourself. If there is a problem, PM the Dragon Speakers mule.
2. Absolutely NO God-moding. This isn't to say you can't have fight scenes and so forth, but keep in mind that everyone has limitations. Follow the flow of the RP. It doesn't work if you keep saying, no, no, no.
3. Be kind and curteous to all RPers. If you must say something out of context please use (()). No other forms should be used for out of context speaking, or it will become to confusing.
4. When setting up threads for RP, be sure to keep them within the sub-threads. That's what they are there for. Everything else is reserved for journals and so forth.
- [PRP] for a private RP. This means invite only. If you see this, do not post unless you have direct permission from the starter of the thread.
- [SRP] is for a semi-private RP. You are allowed to join after you've sent an approved request to do so to the starter of this thread.
- [ORP] is for an open RP. Anyone may jump in at any time they wish to.
5. Remain under gaia Terms and Guidelines.
- PG-13 romance scenes
- Use basic logic for violent scenes.
6. Under no conditions may you RP out a rape scene. This goes beyond the PG-13 rating. If it is needed for plots and so forth, it may be mentioned, but remember gaia's restrictions and do not step outside these bounds.

Possibly the most important part of this little bit is regarding the world of Jurgen (Yer-gen)

It defies the principles of what we consider normal earth. This is for the simple fact that it is probably 5 or more times the size of our actual earth. Only a overwhelmingly sized earth could support the population of such large animals.

For this matter, humans have an extremely hard time making it from city to city, for they are so widely dispersed. Most of the time people stay at home. The most common ride is through the Flaqnog desert on large desert creatures called Gnarls. These have furry crocodillian heads with very camel like bodies, but they lack the hump. They are small for a Jurgen animal, but still very large in comparison to most of earths creatures.

The map shown below will give you a good idea of the layout of the world (or at least part of it). There are other, unexplored territories, but the humans haven't dared ventured far out yet.

When roleplaying it is important to remember the size of the animals, and how they look as well. There will be no such things as rabbits, hares, foxes, wolves, ect. on this world. The only foreign things brought in are the humanoids, but even those have distinguishing characteristics that do not fit in. Make up your own small creatures, and large ones too, for the planet is surely filled with them. The dragons have to eat something after all.

Always keep climate of the areas you are in on your mind, and chances are your dragon will be matched to the world that better fits their element.

~::Regarding Evengale::~

You'll notice that its spelled extremely similarily to Evangale, which is that dark forest. This has its own special reason for which will be explained in RP plots to be brought up within the thread and so forth. You may also see that Evengale is not actually a place to RP. Why is that you ask?

Well, its almost impossible to reach, whether dragonkind or not. Not only are the illusions guarding it intense, but flight is impossible because of the high mountain ranges. So, why not fly around the mountains and end up in Evengale. Well, that is very well possible, except for the torrents of wind, rain, and storm that crash so near to the shore so very often makes the task difficult. The chances of being lost at sea are high, and little wish to venture to Evengale, besides.

They call it the 'angel-land' and it is said to be the resting place of the gods and dead. Those that travel in search of it find it eventually because they meet their death and can never return as they are locked in that world forever.

However, it is said that one albino dragon and his accompanied Speaker has made it across to Evengale and returned once again. A legend to their name, but they won't spill a single bean. They aren't easily recognized from a distance (except for the fact they dress in all white), because no one knows just what they look like. All they have are two names, Seonod and Kealdra, a dragon and Speaker. What they found, or why they didn't stay is well beyond the knowledge of any of the bold story tellers.

They call it the eternal garden of youth. There you are forever young, and it is also in this place that you will forever stay upon your death. Reach it, and you will have no wish to leave, for it is a peaceful place, lacking the death and trifles of the world 'above'. Of course, these are all legends, and who among us actually believes these anyway?
