~Basic Information~

When people think of Tolin, they think of toadstools and merry, jolly happenings.

Here the temperature is nearly always mild, never reaching too far above the hundreds in the summer or too far below freezing during the winter. It is a place of relaxation, and of the more gentle of creatures. If everyone could move there, they probably would, for the atmosphere is of pure exhaltion.

The animals that can be found here are large, eating off the foliage of trees and lumbering along in its shadowed world. It is here that the quick footed beasts can also be found, grazing among the meadows. Several legends come from these forests alone, which are said to grant magic during the dances of the nighttime beauties.

Small, sloping foothills are interspersed in these ranges, allowing a few unique plants to grow on these protected spots.

On its very eastern edge, there is a gentle ocean. Here the days are warm, the beaches very sandy and easy on the skin. A huge variety of very colorful fish span its edges, making it an exciting place for any animal to explore.

~Settlements~

On Tolin's western edge, where the plains cut in, there is a city that is perhaps the largest in all of Jurgen. They remain nearly in the center of all the action. Not too far from the sea to cause mayhem, but so close to everything else they have a high trading capacity. As well, the river flows very close to the city limits, providing protection and a way to get goods.

Within the forest itself are a variety of tongue-clicking humans. They are extremely friendly, as they have an abundance of food, and are great tellers with the tongue. There is a large amount of Speakers coming from their ranks, as they use an elaborate systems of tongue sounds and gestures to get their point across.

A few small fishing villages lie on the ridgeback reefs, though no serious trading can be done as the dangerously high bottom keeps people from taking out large merchant ships.
