No one gives any Sonic game a chance at all anymore..... They don't even play the games anymore.... I have SONIC The Hedgehog for the XBOX 360 and it is really fun but other people says it sucks but they never played played it. Shadow The hedgehog was a fun game ((if you got a problem with that, forget you. You've proved yourself a selfish player!!! scream )). Yeah the game bothered me just because of the cussing but that is it. confused The cussing did ruin the Sonic tradition but that doesn't mean critisize the whole game. If it is also the controls you guys critisize about, you don't know how to play a game. Also what is wrong with having Shadow as being part of the Sonic family? just because he could run fast as Sonic doesn't mean that he is better. stare scream Sonic will be always known as the world's fastest hedgehog and that's that. No one is going to replace him.

What about Sonic Riders? Man.... that game was fun too. My group of friends ((half of them are Sonic haters)) loved it!! Yeah that game did left Sonic out but still that game was fun!! ven my sister's husband who hates 3D games loved Sonic Riders!

SONIC The hedgehog...... THE BEST 15TH ANNIVERSARY GAME!!! scream Tell me one thing, ONE thing that the game was a let down. The part when Sonic finally died? ((no offense Sonic....)) The new character, Silver? What?! For crying out loud what?! What is wrong with the game? What was wrong with Shadow The hedgehog? What is wrong with Sonic Riders?

Also what is wrong with Sonic rivals?!

the only problem i had with any of the newer sonic games was that shadow had a gun. Im sorry, even if the game was amazing, i just couldnt get past it sad

Heroes: Irksome characters, forced nonsensical plot, overly long levels, odd skillsets (ie only being able to fly to a certain height), unnecessary levelling up skills mechanic, irritating bosses that have 'hitpoints', having each 'team' having all the same (though modified) levels, different 'routes' all leading the same direction anyway.

Shadow: Awful character design, awful plot, unnecessary weapons and vehicles, bland levels, far too many bottomless pits, unbalanced difficulty, every 'enemy' trying to kill you even if you are helping them out, ridiculous level goals to take certain routes, saying 'damn' in an exaggerated voice every other minute, gameplay feels more like work than whimsical fun.

Sonic06: Severe camera issues, control issues, loading times (the box challenge, notably), bizarre plot, levels still relying on far too many bottomless pits, awkward homing attacks, unimpressive for a 'nextgen' game.

Riders: I've yet to play this, so I can't comment. However I give it major props for having Ulala in, even if they did make her look uglier in the process. Either way, if I wanted to buy a game in this style, I'd be much more likely to buy SSX or somesuch.

Rivals: I've yet to play this either, but keep this in mind: It was originally created to be an awesome 2D/3D hybrid platformer game, in the style of Sonic 1-3. Sega then demanded that the developers turn it into a one-on-one racing game instead. I'd much rather have a platformer than a versus-racing game, thanks.



...and that's why I at least do not give these games much credit. I'd say about 80% of non-sonic games are much more fun to play these days.

rivals is ok but sonic riders is really cute you should try it.

I haven't touched a Sonic game since Adventure 2. D:

I really wanna try Heroes and the others though, since I'm a Sonic freak. :/
Oh well... is the soundtracks still stellar?

He was also Sonic's best friend, able to fly, and a mole.
