I haven't necessairly cosplayed out in public outside of convention time, but I do dress in gothic lolita clothing when the temperature is alright. I usually get stared at, especially by children. Little kids just stare as you walk by and keep staring as you walk away. Ive seen adults stare at me too. Usually at the pair of boots I wear with the costume, the boots black, go up to my knee and have several buckles. I've gotten compliments on my outfits before too. It's fun, but somewhat scary.

I went out to eat with my sister-in-law, we were at an Anime Festival I was cosplaying Mao and she was cosplaying Madoka, we were walking down a street and some guy yelled at us:
"Can you introduce me to Gokuu?" This is us:

My family and I went to Wizard World Chicago last year. Before heading over to the Rosemont Theatre for the Video Games Live concert, we had dinner at Denny's. Everyone who wasn't there for the convention was understandably confused, because there was a Gaara and two Sasukes there, as well as an Anna Kyoyama (me). I was really serious in my cosplaying; I never took the disgruntled, disdainful look off my face, even when I was ordering my food. sweatdrop

During AX05, my friends and I went to a Cocos near the convention center, 3 of us, including myself, were in cosplay. We were waiting to be seated, and we had this boy and his father sitting across from us, and the little boy is all what are they supposed to be?, mind you that they're no more than 4 feet away, sitting on a couch bench thing straight across from us, and the dad is all well shes a that, and guessing what we are, talking about us as though we weren't there and looking at them....however we werent the only cosplayers in the resturant during the time. I spotted some BLEACH cosplayers a few tables away xd

I remember turning a lot of heads when I brought out my Merciful Goddess (Saiyuki) costume for Halloween last year.

I've worn my Kakashi outfit many times. Usually when I get a new piece to the entire outfit I'll try how it looks by walking in the full outfit. Let's just say that most women who like anime really enjoy my cosplaying.
