Well first of all . . I'm back ^^ I took a short break, but all is better now.
Anyways, . . .
I've heard some rumors about the making of a Labyrinth II movie. It's still in the first stages and the actual confirmation of the film hasn't been revealed yet. I heard something to the point of Jim Henson's going to make a sequel to the Dark Crystal. .or another movie and depending on how well that sells, he'll then decided if he really wants to make a Labyrinth sequel. I thought it was just a rumor untill someone recently pointed it out again.
I was just wondering if anyone else has heard anything about it.

I have heard some things from my Uncle. But if I try to pry it out of him, he leaves.
I heard that it would contain the same people though, and it would kind of reflect off the new Anime book thing.
I'm not too sure myself.

I heard something along the lines of that around the time Mirrormask came out.
Of coarse I'm thinking: "NO! Please god don't ruin good childhood dreams with sequels to movies!!!"
Seriously. It's bad enough there is about 20 Land Before Time movies. I only like the first one anyways.

Amen. Land Before time, whatever, they're dinosaurs, so they're all going to die anyway. And sequels arn't always a good thing... Like for Example... Hollow Man Two. Now, the first one was Crap, so making a Sequel? Crappier.

I think it would be a good idea if they re-made the movie instead of making a sequal. . I would of course love to see a sequal, but there is that chance of it turing into crap. ^^
And i'm not talking about basterdizing the movie but you know how they re-made Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory? They took the same concept but they kind of modernized it and made it their own ; without stepping on the former movie's toes. The two versions are in a sense the same and different and i'd like to see what a more adult and modern Labyrinth would look like.
And no one can out-do David Bowie's Jareth. But i'd like to see what hot actor they would cast to play the role.

The only reason Charlie and the Chocolate factory was good was because Tim Burton directed it. Of coarse that was probably the reason the Planet of the Apes remake was so good. But if had to pick someone to do a remake of Labyrinth of even a sequel it would have to be Neil Gaimen. I did here rumors that Gaimen did want to make a sequel but Henson told him no. *shrugs* O yea did some searching and I found this: Muppets Forum and it pretty much downs the rumors.

I totally agree, I love Gaimen to death! He is creative in dark way, I love all his work. If he did the sequel or the remake it would be incredible! If they didn't use David Bowie for Jareth though, I think the only person who'd be able to do it would be Johnny Depp. Of course, that might just be because I'm a fan girl. xd

Uh... Hrmm. Everybody click the Muppet link thingy, and then click the Mistymills thing at the top. The Picture of Emma watson is a Picture taken Straight out of Harry Potter. [I know this Cause I'm Weird, alright] The First or Second Movie. My Bets are riding on the first, because she's stupid young in the photo. [Come ON PEOPLE! She's like 15-16 now. She doesn't look like some bratty 11 year old anymore.] Not to Mention her Hair is HUGE! Not to mention, the fact that YES THE DARK CRYSTAL HAS A SEQUEL. It's on Brian Henson's list of To-Do movies [My uncle knows Everything] Just look his name up on Google and click the IMDb thingy. It'll Show Ya. And if you Look at the Movie poster with the Awesome writing and cool drawn Photo- It 's on a fansite, and it was drawn by the woman who made the site [I'm sure anyway, it looks like it's hers.] http://www.rattlebeak.com/go/movieimages/index.html I Mean, the pitch sounds good and all, but I'm sure that it is completely untrue. [Check all the other actresses too, they don't have it down] And the fact that the website hasn't been updated since Nov. 2002. >.> Yeah. PuShaw. All Lies. [Unfortunatly]
The person who made this is crazy Weird.
