pretty sure Kouichi's older, I think it said that in the Japanese anime

Kouichi and Kouji... Ichi is one, Ji is two. Kouichi is in fact the older one, yes. surprised

I thought ni was two in Japanese. XD! Nu, that was a joke. But yes, that's how I remember Kouichi is the older child. The ichi kinda gave it away.

Yeah, ni can be two as well. Kanji's an evil thing and comes with multiple readings, including kunyomi, onyomi, consonant sound changing if it comes after another kanji sometimes, etc x_X~

My question seems to be, however, if Takuya or Kouji is older, since I already knew Kouichi was the older twin. Kinda overprotective too. XD I suppose it's because he's always worrying about him. I mean he says Kouji's name ((in the flashback of him, Takuya and Kouji going to the digital world and Kouichi falls down the stairs)) at least seven times

Yep Takuya was 11 in the dub They left Takuya's name alone they just pronounced it wrong.... *stabs Takooooya* Tomoki became Tommy though I assume his age remained the same

there isn't supposed to be emphasis on any of the syllables when pronouncing Takuya. Just listen to what they say in the original version a few times... surprised

That was the thing that cracked me up, because I learned Japanese syllables and how they worked a few years back, and I just kinda lay back and smile. "Takooyah? Give me a break."
And Tomoki... oh wait, I think his age was the same. ^^;; I was sorta thinking about him, being 8 for some odd reason.

Why do the dubbers have to mess with the things we love so?
Frontiers annoys me because of the dubbing, like the two digimon that run around, I think they were supposed to be stupid in the original, but the dubs are beyond IQ dropping.
I liked the characters: Takuya, Kouichi, Kouji, and Tommy also, but I never could watch Frontier without getting annoyed or frustrated. redface
