Personality: Stand-offish. Quiet. Reserved. Slow to anger. Sophisticated.
Valentine is as stuck up as Crow come. He loves to feel like he has control over those around him, and won't hesitate to put people into their place if he feels like it. He's quite haughty and over-confident in his abilities. A womanizer, he flatters most females of his own race, winning their hearts and affections with his charming manners towards them. He can, however, be quite hostile, and usually won't hesitate to give out a good beating.
Valentine is quiet and reserved- he acts like any aristocrat, even though he has no noble blood in his family line. No one knows whether or not it is because of his wings that he acts this way, but 'sophisticated' is the correct terminology. He recognizes those that are stronger than him with a silent reverence, however ignores, terrorizes, or taunts those that he feels and knows are weaker than himself.
Not one for legnthy conversation, Valentine will usually reply with one or two sentences, if applicable. He has been known to open up a little after a few rounds of alcohol, but will never totally crack. The Crow has also never been known to become totally plastered, always retaining the swan-like grace about him with dignity and pride. Though quite rude at times, he knows how to handle most situations to get the result that he's looking for, often analyzing others to determine their reaction to certain things.
History:
Valentine was born on the opposite side of Oaxu into a society of Crows that lived in the middle of a ancient forest. This forest, known as Abyssus Glade, was a prime meeting place for the Crow race, known to most others as only a thing of myth. Though in the middle of the forest, the Abyssus colony was both sophisticated and cultured- a highly desirable blend of Crow traits. Many winged Crows come from Abyssus- why, though, is unknown.
Valentine's parents, Endymion and Aglaia, were both winged, which is where his own trait came from. Somewhat of a mother's child during his early youth, he was most often around her ankles, tugging on her skirt and quietly begging and pleading to go play with the other children.
At the age of four, however, his father took charge. Training him in not only the ways and morales of the Crow, but the skills and false emotions of a brutal killer. By six, he had already taken out two adult Ehalu and one Sarus of his own age.
It wasn't soon after that, however, that a rival band of Crows came through in the middle of the night. Killing most of the main colony, Valentine was taken as a hostage, as something of a trophy for the rival gang. The last view of his parents was his father attempting to shield his mother, but failing miserably, then watching them die as he was carried off over someone's shoulder.
In several years, Valentine had escaped from the colony, moving far off to the village of Venna on the other half of the continent. Roving around the various towns in the area, he became notorious for both being a Casanova and a deadly killer. However, the general police force of Kinoc finally caught up to him at the age of eighteen, when he toned down his aggression and brought out the charming, sophisticated Crow that most know him as.
Making his home in Asantaniel Forest, Valentine has yet to revisit Abyssus Glade. He suspects that if he should go, he'd rather bring along a band of friends then go alone.

::In Order of Meeting::
'The Parents' - Deceased. Father taught me everything, and I never saw much of mother. Their absence doesn't affect my life.
Leonardo - A winged Crow, like myself. I consider him a comrade, borderline on 'friend'- we balance each other out personality-wise. He's quick to anger, but whereas I'm quiet and reserved, he's loud and rambunctious.
Candince - A Hazuiel who first encountered in one of Venna's bars. Our first encounter wasn't that great, seeing as she practically jumped on me, but her, Leonardo, and myself tortured a Sarus for a while... she's not as bad as most Hazuiel are.
Goya - The teenage Sarus that Leonardo, Candince, and myself harassed in the streets of Venna. We let him go for now, but I doubt it'll be the last we see of him...
Aella - An Anwen. She managed to gouge at my shoulder in Venna, which pissed me off. She's strange, for protecting a Light, but I won't let her off easy for that wound. Anwen germs... disgusting.
Vyassa - An Anwen assassin. Leonardo and I encountered her in the forest- I'm not sure whether she's friend or foe, but for now, it's not worth starting a fight with her.
Kynel - A Chorda child that I have yet to actually... socialize... with. I hope to become a little better "acquainted" with him soon, however.
Mirage - My love- it was rough getting here, but now we're together. To keep her and Leonardo's reputations up, I've also stepped in to serve as Autumn's father- no one but us and her parents know the truth.
Tegan - A teenage Crow I briefly met in Asantaniel- she seems to have a standard Crow attitude... it'd be a good idea to keep an eye on her to see what she's up to.
Dyn - Another winged Crow- he's one half of a dynamic duo that's notorious for causing trouble, havoc, and general mayhem. On his own, however, he seems to be a generally calm guy.
