Welcome to the Oaxu Role Play Forum! Well, lookie here, you've got yourself your very own Oaxu pet! Congratulations! Let us re-emphasize how they are RP-heavy, so it's pretty important that you read these rules.
Kurama no Koishi and Capricorn Sunchai (Koishi and CapCap) are your Role Play Managers. They're the first people to ask any questions you might have about the Role Plays, after reading the FAQ. On weekdays, CapCap's usually online before Koishi is, though Koishi stays on later than CapCap does. That may help you when you want a quick reply to your questions.

Rules and Guidelines
All content in this guild must comply with Gaia's rules and TOS.
Rules are subject to change as the Role Play Managers see fit.
General
+ Be literate. We understand that spelling and grammar may be difficult, and mistakes are expected, but it isn't that hard to proofread your post or run it through a spell-check.
+ Post at least one paragraph per post, one paragraph as in five well thought-out sentences. This also isn't so difficult if you sit down and think in your character's shoes. If five sentences is too hard, Oaxu isn't the RP for you.
Godmoding/Powerplay
+ You absolutely cannot control another person's character without their explicit consent.
+ Oaxu will probably have a significant amount of fighting in its roleplays. While it is permissible to claim that a blow hit its mark, you have no control over how much the person was hurt. You may hint at how much they should have been hurt, though. Ultimately, the owner gets to decide, to a reasonable extent.
eg. I'm still standing after being stabbed through the stomach eight times!! is a no.
eg. I stab you in the heart and tear out your lungs!! is also a no. + Sometimes two roleplayers will become comfortable enough with each other that they may allow some amount of powerplay between themselves. Never assume that you have this kind of relationship with someone else without first speaking to them about it.
+ If/when a fight occurs in these role plays, they will stay in the role plays.
+ Time-lapses are only to be performed by RP Managers (Koishi and CapCap) or with written permission from them.
Content
+ Nothing over PG-13 will be permitted in this guild. Take it to messengers or email, if it gets racy.
+ Never use asterisks or symbols to depict actions. We role-play in novel format, which means that our RPs and books are written in roughly the same way.
+ As aforementioned, you have no control over the severity of another character's injuries and wounds.
+ Killing of other characters will NOT be tolerated without permission from the owner. You are allowed to kill unimportant, unnamed and unowned characters, though. An example of this would be killing a random Goad or Mengkir, or Oaxuian.
+ Keep cussing in moderation. We understand that it may be in a character's nature to use colorful language, but it is not necessary to write out every last string of curses.
+ OOC is to be limited, and should be put into brackets or parentheses.
+ Do not quote posts, unless the post you are replying to has been forgotten due to activity, or is several pages back in the RP.
Format
+ All roleplay will be in third person, past tense.
+ Text will be colored, in order to easily distinguish between different characters. It should be between the sizes of 8-11. Some members have decided to use an  " style='float:left' />Text should not be in brightly-colored or hard to read fonts. It hurts Capcap's eyes, and eye hurting is not good.
Miscellaneous
+ There are multiple roleplays in Oaxu, as you may have noticed. Your Oaxuian may only be in one place at a time! If he/she is currently in Kinoc, you may not roleplay him/her in Ansantaniel Forest concurrently. You must roleplay the character leaving the said location, entering a different setting.
+ Try to keep up with the Roleplay, and refrain from asking for a recap of what's been happening. It's infinitely annoying.
+ If you are taking a hiatus, you should notify Koishi and/or Capcap so they won't get on your case.
Attention: Crew!
+ It is strictly for the RP Managers to decide when we need a new thread or time lapses, as they're the ones who scrutinize and carefully consider the roleplaying needs of Oaxu. Thanks for understanding.

Questions? Before you send us a PM, you might find your question answered here.
If you are uncomfortable about the way you roleplay or would like some advice, feel free to send a PM over to Capricorn Sunchai or Kurama no Koishi.
Q: Awwh, do I have to be literate all the time?
A: Yes. D:
Q: What if I'm really stuck, and can't do a full paragraph?
A: No one should be making you reply right away. If you really have writer's block, just don't roleplay until you have enough information to work off of.
Tip: You can describe more than just your character and their emotions and reactions—A good RP-er will describe some of the surroundings as well.
Q: I have a complaint to voice about something in the RP, how do I do this?
A: Just send a PM to the guild mule, Oaxu, and we'll get back to you accordingly. However, if it is about a member who is harassing you, you'd better direct the PM to stickeh-tape.
Q: What should I complain about?
A: We're not encouraging complaining, but you can and should complain about godmoding, absence in the roleplays, and a person's roleplay skills. Please don't complain about the rules, however, as they're all there for a reason.
Q: So...what happens if I don't follow the rules?
A: Consequences. Depending on what you did, you will either get a warning or the boot. At the maximum, it will take you three rule-breakings to get your character taken away and be banned from Oaxu.
Q: What happens if I don't RP?
A: You will get your characters taken away. After a month of inactivity, we will send you a warning. If RP does not start within two weeks we will resell or kill off your characters.
Q: I quit!/I'm going to be away for a while.
A: Let us know by sending a PM to Oaxu. It would also be polite to post this in the main thread, as well.
