So, my current writing project is the one I intend to finish. I even made a New Year's resolution about it and everything.
Anyway, it's inspired by Spirited Away. Alice Quarts, a 22 year old woman, but not really mature enough to be called a woman, is a drunk and when she is kicked out of her own apartment she, in a drunken state, runs into the woods (a more complicated reason) and comes across a strange neighborhood. Old looking with wooden cariages still harnessed to the bones of horses. In short, it's infested with spirits and other supernatural creatures. She'll explore, discover things about the spiritual realms, about herself and...
That's all I have though. Should the entire plot be centered around exploration of a strange land and the developement of Alice into a woman? Or something else like a big baddie behind evil things?

Hm... The big baddie would seem a little cliche. I think that, if you could make the exploration interesting and diverse enough, it would probably work our just fine that way, with maybe some big realization as the climax where she finds out what makes the place tick or something. *shrug* Just my suggestion, though. Probably not the best... sweatdrop
