Bio: The most anyone knows of Ryder's origins is that, at the age of 15, he was a promising young scholar and blitzball player. They say that he was an only child living in a relatively small city.
One fateful night, however, that all changed. Government special forces broke into his family's apartment and murdered everyone inside except himself, for reasons unknown. Then, they took Ryder away from his home planet to a secret military facility.
This part of Ryder's history is a bit cloudy, but as the world knows, he went on to become the one of the most deadly government assassins that the galaxy has ever seen. Later, at the age of 19, Ryder somehow managed to escape from the clutches of the government and become a notorious space outlaw.

Fused together, the electricity that sends signals from his eyes to his brain are intensified. This allows Ryder to analyze actions and successfully predict his opponents' moves before they make them. In addition to this, Ryder can use the cybernetic nerve to observe minor details, keep up with fast moving objects, see in the dark, etc. Due to the strength needed to keep up the extra flow of electricity along his nerve, Ryder's stamina is constantly sapped when he uses it. The extra electricity also gives his iris a crimson color.
