STORY
Time comes and goes, that much has always been true. But all else is subject to change?.
It is now 3036, and the planet has fractured into military city states as Cold wars ,technology, and Skirmishes occur in attempts to dominate weaker powers in a struggle for the resources of a slowly fading planet; most of this is done by government and military powers, catching most civilians in the middle.
But, as if to change all this ;while the Humans where blinded by conflict and greed, Crystals of great size, each bigger than a house, crashed to earth, unscathed by the entry into the atmosphere.
All over the planet, they kept falling like tears of weeping angels, some green, some, white, some a deep sapphire blue and more. These crystals were soon discovered not to be entirely?
Natural.
Sometimes, when approached by a human, they immediately glow and split open, forming an arcane set of factory gears and cranes, grown solely from the crystal itself. The rest of the stone then morphed and shifted, undergoing a rapid growth to convert to metals and arcane circuitry, forming Gleaming mecha of various shades and designs, responding only to the one who it ?bonded? with. Apparently these machines aren?t strictly machines, but rather semi-sentient beings, a form of animal. They seem to sybioticly link their metabolisms to their pilots, responding to feelings and stress. They generally stand about as tall as a telephone pole, and can operate and many environments and conditions. These Mecha, dubbed ?Archangels? soon fueled a conflict worldwide as nations and groups sought to use them to gain territory and power, others merely trying to stop the battles. Soon, three global groups formed; The Clans, The U.N. remenants, and the Arbiters?.

Section2: ARCHANGELS

Of the many mysteries surrounding these battle machines from space, We have unraveled very few-And these discoveries could shape mankind?s future? If only we would stop fighting long enough to think about these magnifceint creatures. Below are some of the few data fragments we have isolated on the Archangels.
---Arbiter technitian.

-Archangels come in various colors, and seem to form according to the personality of the one they bond to.
-They have three primary types: Bulky but powerful Megaliths that specialize in assaults, Fast and speedy Iridion types that have weak armor, but almost never get struck due to high speed and flight powers. Signa are the last type, possessing some of both, and the most evenly balanced of the 3.
-A rare fourth type is speculated, a sort of mutation that amplifies the Archangel?s powers to very high levels. Mecha of this type often will not activate for quite some time, and are picky about their pilots. They also are more of a strain on the pilot. The weapons are often so powerful that at full power and maturity, a X-type Archangel is speculated to posesses offensive capabilities equal to a nuclear warhead , and can break the sound barrier while in flight.
-While rate of maturity varies from Pair to Pair, Most Archangels reach full strength somewhere between 6 months and a year. X types seem to take longer, but as only 2 are believed to exist, details are difficult to discern.

-X-types in particular, the birth and formation of an Archangel from it?s crystal seem to involve humans with an apparently telepathic potential. The stronger the conecttion, the more likely the crystal will react.

-Each of the classes has distinct weapons, but in general, some weapons are common:
> Organic-metal swords instead of a hand.
>Shoulder-joint mounted cannons
> beam gun like mechanisms commonly found on the wrists
>Plasma-sheath blades, extendable from the wrists.
>Blades or spikes on any set of joints.
>Thin, armored, whip-like tentacles, retractable into the wrists.
>the lack of hand with a bio-mechanical pump that sprays a self-igniting gas, basically a flamethrower.

-Archangels seem to reflect the gender of the pilot, resulting in male and female variations.

-Attempts to sythesize Archangels are currently only being researched by The Clans fraction.
