Obviously, I am no seamstress. It's not that great of a dress, and I'm sure you all could come up with something much better looking that this. I guess this is kind of just a head start on one. Why did I choose the Ramones? Well, I remember having bought a CD because a friend recommended them to me. I think I was in the fifth or sixth grade (sad, I know), but I could be wrong. So every day after school, I went to safe key until I was picked up. They had an old CD player there, and whoever got first dibs got to use it the whole entire day. I was hanging out with this boy named Joey at the time, so we'd always get it first and blast bands on it. One of them, I remember, was the Ramones. The "thug" and "gangster" wannabe kids hated us for it...not to mention the fact that we tried giving them a survey and asked if they were homosexual. rolleyes Anyways... (yes, shitty picture...shitty cheap "webcam" from Walgreens biggrin ) Basically, all you have to do is get a shirt or tank top that you never wear anymore, and a skirt that you don't wear either. Sew them together. What I did was I cut out from an old white shirt the letters, and then I tried coloring them in with a sharpie since I didn't have the time to get black paint. Then I sewed on some old zippers I tore apart. Sew whatever you want to put on the dress.
I'm thinking about adding more later once I can afford a sewing machine.

depending on what sizes you wear, you can easily make a skirt out of sheets, tablecloths, or even pillowcases. My roommate made a skirt out of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pillowcase she found in a trash pile.

You can make a shirt with it too, and if your lucky, maybe even a dress like the one I made...but of course, out of pillows or whatever...heh. You can also take a pair of pants or jeans and cut the inner parts of them and sew 'em together somehow.

yeah, but you have to be careful, sometimes if you make a skirt out of a pair of pants they it hangs weird off of your hips.

That's true. I'd do it if I had nicer legs and all. Like the really tall 70s models who had thin, long legs. They could probably pull it off nicely.
