At the end of the river there is a giant waterfall. It leads down to something resembling a lake, due to the fact that, although it is still a river, its wide base slows down the rushing water and is calm enough to allow people to swim in it. This part of the river is also very deep, thanks to the years of constant pressure weighing down on it from the waterfall. This is generally where the shinobi will be training their water-based jutsu and increasing their lung capacity, although, because of its size, it is often used for recreational purposes also. There is a ladder that leads down to the base of the waterfall, although it is very rarely used, thanks to tourist's laziness and the adept water skills of the village shinobi.
