Battle of the Ultimate All Powerful Beings [RP]

Godmodders unite, here you can godmod to your hearts content! Blow up your enemies, kill them with no chance of revival, and watch them come back to life and do the same to you! Anyone and everyone can godmod here, so come and enjoy yourselves! However, thanks to Eclipse I have to put some regulations in. It MUST be in context, this is a massive gladiatorial fight, not some sex orgy where we get AID's. You can be some viral creature, you can infect us, but you need to give reasons, and try to RP well. Pretty much think of it as a battle between the god's, a fight where you can die and come back, kill and have to kill your opponent again.

There are no rules, no regulations (In the context of this RP. I feel I now need to elaborate. You are a contestant in the tournament, the battle has no rules or regulations), except that if you happen to be in the spectator booth (Which you can't XD) you can't be killed. And please, stick to the setting, gladiator arena, you're there, as are many others, and you fight. In the arena, anything goes. No descriptions needed, just come and RP!

Johan the Great and Almighty stood proud, eyes roaming over the spectacular gladiator stadium he had built for this tournament. All the most powerful beings in the universe would be coming, from the smallest to the biggest. It would provide entertainment for decades for all who came to watch, if the contestants chose to stay that long. He himself couldn't wait to go down, but he would wait. Up here in the stadium box no one could truly die, everything would pass through them, but down there, anything went. And once the first contestant appeared he'd leapt down, kill them, and the tournament would begin.

He was the hands of the one true god -- the phsycial manifestation of all the divine. The One brought forth by the creator of everything both known and unknown in the multiverse, the True Creator. Being as such, he knew no mundane tournament like this one would take him more effort than it would to blink. It might, however, prove useful in...other ways.

Stepping from the folds between realities, "Godhand," as he had come to be known, set foot on the smooth stone of the gladiator's arena. First, in fact, to tread on its perfectly flat, obsidian plane. Although first in the arena, he was not the only one present. There was another. One who thought he stood a chance. One who thought he could contest the will and the might of the One.

"Come." Godhand beckoned to his opponent, his chilling voice resonating clearly - carried by the magically-infused arena he stood in. Then, whether by coincidence or other means, a growing din formed in the stands of the arena. Exponentially, their numbers grew: spectators, of every race and shape and size imaginable. The flooded into the arena stands, taking seats and watching with eyes brimming with bloodlust. Yes, killing was what they wanted...and they would certainly have it.

Johan The Great and Almighty smiled, his first contestant had arrived. This one would obviously be quite confident, he was something of the divine. But here, this was Johan's arena, and even this manifestation of divinity wasn't capable of destroying him. Smiling he threw his hands out, his cloak flying out, and leapt into the arena. He needed no weapon, for he had one, the stone flying into his hand in the form of a massive battle axe three times his height in length, with a blade half the length of the weapon. Holding it with ease he strode forward confidently.

The first kill of the night would be his and he spun, leaping in the air, swinging the axe. Lengthening, growing longer each spin it soon reached his opponent in length, and brutally tore through his chest. Immediately shortening he tossed it to the ground as he landed, and it melded back with the stone. The spectators roared their approval, the tournament had begun.

Slow, ill-conceived, and typical of anyone who thought they knew what power truly was. As if such a poorly executed attempt at a fatal blow could fell Godhand. Standing immobile and tacit, the full force of the axe's cleaving blow struck dead-on in Godhand's chest, carving a deep gash the entire length across. Flesh was shredded, muscle torn, organs lacerated. His heart, most importantly, was rendered little more than two halves of a brittle and useless stone.

Lifeless and limp, the body fell backwards from the blow - a ragdoll subject to the cruel torture of a sadistic child. For that was exactly what it had become.

Within seconds the corpse slumped to the ground. Dust and ash exploded outwards, showering the entire arena in it's veil. Audience members shrieked in protest, struggling to catch a glimpse of what was going on. Their attempts served no purpose, however. The cloud only thickened, blackening out the sun and everything else.

It was not long before cries of protest became blood-curdling screams of fear and death. Not a moment before, Godhand's black-clad body re-shaped itself behind Johan, hand pressed flat to his back. "Know death, from now until Judgement Day." He was dead in less than a second.

Withdrawing his gloved hand from Johan's chest, Godhand cast aside the bloody and beating heart of his opponent, the man's lifeless vessel collapsing to the stained obsidian floor.

The stone flowed around Johan's still beating heart, rising upwards as his previous body melded back into the stone from which it was formed. Moments later the stone shaped itself around Johan's heart, and wind exploded outwards, pushing away the dust to the cheers of his audience. His arms were wide and a cloak fluttered out in the wind. His body, it was stone, as before, but now, now he made it stronger. Arms outstretched he grew, bigger and bigger, stone flowing up his legs to increase his size and strength. Soon he towered over everyone, and more stone flowed up, his axe reforming in his hand. A thunderous laugh exploded from his body as he looked down on Godhand.

"You thought it would be that simple? HA!" Stone flowed into spikes, impaling the man instantly and repeatedly. "I created this arena from the stone I am formed from, you cannot defeat me here!" The man stood, held in the air by spikes of stone as the axe flashed downwards repeatedly, utterly destroying his body.

"A body of morphic stone stands little chance against a vessel of the divine." Godhand spoke mockingly from the shoulder of the colossal beast, having materialized there before even the "body" below had been mutilated beyond recognition. "It is you who are guilty of underestimating your opponent."

That said, Godhand sank, immersing himself in the stone that formed Johan. All the while, his intriguing performance spurred cheers and remarks of awe from the stunned audience. With every move, every action, Godhand defied the laws of reality. How could a barbarian of rock possibly stand up to something like that?

"You may think your body more resilient than my own," Godhand continued from within the behemoth, "but in that regard you are sorely mistaken. For your body of shifting stone, it is merely improbable to destroy you entirely. For my own, it is impossible."

The sky was blotted out once more, becoming black as night, the sun gone, and everything around it black. A loud buzzing was heard, and suddenly light appeared as streams of black came down. More and more of the black buzzing mass came down, and soon it was seen for what it was. Shrieks of horror, and voices screaming out in delight were heard as the insects, those of every variety flew down. Among there ranks was a large man, massive wasp wings creating such a loud noise that it and the other insects almost drowned out the spectators. Xorus had come to the arena, the King of the Insect World had come.

A massive explosion was heard and a small round object fell out of where the massive stone beast had stood. The round ball that contained the heart of Johan was grabbed by the stone ground and sucked down. A column of stone rose moments later some distance away and Johan reformed, the same massive size as before, but made of a netting of stone. His body was possible to be seen through completely, the stone that held his heart suspended in the middle. He watched Xorus arrive, the second of many competitors. A smile formed on the stone holding his heart and transfered to a massive stone head. His axe appeared in his hand and he swung it out toward where his old body was, slicing through the dust to connect with Godhand's newest body.

Deciding against taking out Xorus now he instead spoke out loudly. "Xorus, you have come I see. Enjoy your life now, soon it will be snuffed out beneath my stone foot, just as I have destroyed that attempt at divinity. The stone destroys those simple bugs, much like it can destroy everything else!" His words were greeted by cheers, many disliked Xorus, but from the boo's in response to his speech many loved him as well. This tournament was already proceeding nicely.

Godhand laughed in reply, standing once more on the should of Johan's towering sculpture of rock. "Sadly mistaken, Johan. Not once so far have you come close to killing me. It would seem you're under the impression I take on a new body every time you land a blow? I almost find it hard to believe you were so naive. Truth be told, not once have you even touched my real body. You are the one who has attempted and failed."

Clapping his hands together, Godhand formed between them a massive halberd, blade curving wickedly. The deadly-edged weapon tore through the makeshift head of rock, piercing the stone casing that held Johan's heart. It delved further still, impaling the heart itself. With a twist and a tug, Godhand retrieved his new weapon from within it's stone encasing - an action as effortless as it had been to cut through.

Holding the halberd in one hand, Godhand obliterated it with a thought - Johan's heart along with it. With naught to help retain it's shape, the tower of stone tumbling as a powerless airship out of the sky.

Staying aloft in mid-air, Godhand craned his neck to address his remaining adversary. "Xorus, was it? Seek comfort in the fact that you will die in a battle no one could have won."

Xorus laughed, the sound carried on the wings of the trillions of insects that accompanied him. The sound was strange, coming from his current body, it wasn't made for speaking. But speak it did, as more trillions of insects flowed into the arena. The insects flooded it, carrying his voice among themselves, causing it to echo and fly, a melody among the harmony created by the buzzing of their wings.

"You both spoke of death... But death does not find me... I am the king of all the insects... And none can destroy us all..." His voice rose and faded, carried among the insects. "You are nothing to us... Your god isn't even anything compared to the might of me and my kingdom... We have survived throughout the ages... And you will die..."

The blackness finished it's flight, and the arena was filled with insects, the air above the spectators heads filled with the small buzzing creatures. All varieties flew in the air, and streaming down millions of wasps dashed towards Godhand, burying their stingers deep in the flesh he was in. But Xorus knew that that would not be enough to defeat the shell that contained the divine. No, it would require the divine to kill the divine. The black clouds darkened, almost glowing black as they swarmed down towards Godhand. Millions, billions, and finally trillions of them passed into his body, the insects filled with the divine will of Xorus god.

He meanwhile was filled further with it, and soon as the insects swarmed back to him nothing was found where the divine shell once stood. Yet his subjects were full, full with flesh, full with power, as was he. With luck another shell would appear, for whenever they fed they would grow stronger, and when they grew stronger they would feed further.

Such conceit. All of it empty, meaningless. Godhand would show just what it meant to be the emissary of the True god. Xorus thought his insects were the superior? The idea was laughable, at best. To think, anyone could believe that the Creator had been outlived by mere insects? They would know Truth.

No shell could be seen this time. For what he planned to do next, Godhand needed none.

There was a single word. Nothing more, nothing less. It rang out, clear over the cacophony of wings and insects. Yet, it's meaning was strangely absent. It was as if it was only that: a word. No sooner had Godhand pronounced it than the insects - and even the self-proclaimed "Great" Xorus himself - toppled from the sky, much as Johan's stone figure had not long before.

All were dead. And so they would remain. The hands of death had reached out to each and every one of them, caressing them. Tempting them. A nocturne alluring as the greatest treasure entranced them all, swelling their minds and drowning their hearts; until from Death's clutches there was no escape.

Amidst the rain of fallen souls, Godhand formed anew. Black and crimson leather, covering him from head to toe, leaving only a small opening across the length of where his eyes lay. Those eyes, cold, grey, merciless, surveyed the arena around him. Xorus was dead. Johan had been slain. The tournament would prove even easier than he had though. A disappointment, really.

"Not entirely true." A voice that Godhand knew from the depths of his memory sounded from somewhere behind him, "With an adversary such as you, this tournament has proven far from a disappointment to myself. Long have I awaited such an opportunity."

"Ivellios. So we meet again. You are but only half of a whole, I see." Godhand stood at the ready. It was no surprise, but no displeasure, either: he would enjoy this battle far more than any other.

The emotionless steel mask that had come to be Ivellios' face nodded in agreement. "This is all I'll need for victory. However, to make things more interesting..."

Far on the other side of Godhand, the stone surface of the arena once more teemed with a semblance of life. From it rose the renewed body of Johan. Not far from that, Xorus too rose once more to life, an eager feel about him. "Company, to enjoy our duel of fates."

Smacking his gun he flicked the safety off as he hovered above the arena, cloaked by his technology. He had heard of this, and he wasn't disappointed. He had watched the stone behemoth be destroyed, he had watched the swarms fall, and all to one simple 'man'. One divine spark, in one mortal shell. He had watched another man come, he watched the defeated creatures arise, and he watched. He had seen Godhand, just because the shell had no body when it destroyed the swarms was nothing. He had technology and he had his God with him.

Shutting off his boosters he fell silently, until he reactivated them, being pushed upwards slightly, just above the ground. Thusly slowed he dropped, landing quietly on the ground. He watched the stone behemoth shrink down, becoming one with the arena, yet he would not be seen, not by that thing. His technology was superior to some barbarian behemoth. But who cared about some stone beast, the real challenge would be in the two, 'normal' opponents.

Sighting his gun he aimed towards the shell, and fired, a burst of bullets flying from the gun through the air towards the shell of the divine, smashing through Godhands body, and exploding upon entering, destroying his entire upper body. Taking no chances he then activated his boosters, rocketing upwards and to the left quickly, leaving the spot he stood in empty, an unseen opponent flying through the air, just under the cloud of insects that was the swarm Xorus.

Johan had melded himself into the rock. Somehow the process of regenerating had been sped up, his heart had been recovered faster than it should've. His heart, it was an artifact, what kept him alive. And it was incredibly hard for even the most powerful deities to destroy. If damaged it would just regenerate, feeding off the stone to grow back. But how that process was sped up was beyond him. Finally stopping his, heart was beneath everything, deep under the stone. And then it shot up, swirling around, creating a whirlpool in the stone and blasting up out of it. A great stone pillar in the middle of the arena, forming into a new, better body.
