STORY
The year is 2064 along the east coast of Australia there are a group of people called Raven. They are mostly like mercenaries; they work for four major companies: The Navis, Mirage, Crest and Kisaragi, but sometimes a Raven may acquire a mission from an unknown group, but if a Raven gets caught doing these missions, they will get kicked out of Raven’s ark, the home place to the Ravens. Raven’s ark is home to many Ravens. They live there, eat there, and sleep there, basically it is their home, they might not get along there but they settle it out in duels with there AC’s.
The AC. AC stands for Armored Core, an Armored Core is about 3 to 4.5 stories tall depending on what type it is. The AC’s are what Raven’s pilots use when doing a mission or dueling each other. There are three types of AC’s; light weight, they can’t carry much like heavy weapons, can’t take much damage, and get knocked back if hit, but they are fast, very fast so they can dodge attacks and they are the tallest and has low AP; Medium weights, the middle. They are average in everything and can hanger one weapon and each arm; Heavy weights are slow, can’t boost much or very far and are short and cannot turn fast, but they can take heaps of damage, carry heavy weapons like chain guns and rocket launchers and are more stable when they are hit by something, they barely move and can hanger one weapon on each arm and with high AP. An AC runs on energy. Boosting will take this power. Using energy weapons will to, but it does recharge over time. When it does, you can’t move, only shoot if you don’t use energy weapons. If someone uses a flamethrower or if you go into a very, very hot place your AC will overheat and start to lose AP. Hangers can only carry light weapons.
SETTING
The main area is a common room of sorts, where the AC pilots can get together and "mingle" and set up duels. The kitchen is located on the southern wall, and stocked full of drinks and snacks.
There are 4 doors off the main room, located off each off each of the main walls.
Opposite the kitchen (north) is the Operations Area, consisting of a fairly long corridor, with 2 doors located about halfway along.
On the right is the Metting Room, where the Leader of Raven's Ark can brief the pilots, or where the company leaders can meet with the Raven's Ark leader.
On the left is the Operations Room. When a pilot accepts a mission from a company, a message is sent to the Operations Room. The operators decide who will take the mission, and then brief the pilot and assist them throughout the mission.
Continuing up the corridor, there is a large, thick solid steel door, with swipe-card only access. This is the Test Viewing Area, and is accessable to all pilots as long as they have their access card. The Test Area cannot be accessed from here.
On the Eastern wall is a door which leads to the Raven's Ark Garage. In the Garage is every type of car of vehicle a pilot could ever need. If it isn't in the Garage, it isn't worth driving, or doesn't exsist.
The Western wall leads to the Dorms. The far (left) wall is lined with dorms 1-15, and the near (right) wall is numbered 30-16, as seen if you were going down the corridor, looking left and right. Each dorm can only be accessed by a certain swipe card, so pilots never need to worry about their things going missing, or by the "master" card, held by the leader of Raven's Ark.
The South wall leads to the AC Garage. This is where the AC are stored until they are needed.
You can also access the Test Area through the AC Garage, but you need to be accompanied by one of the company leaders to get in, as the ordinary pilot swipe-cards will not allow them in.
Individual swipe-cards can access personal dorms, the Test Veiwing Area and the regular Garage. To access the Test Area outside of the AC Garage, you need a Master swipe-card or access via one of the company leaders.
