I didn't think it was bad for a first try. I sort of got really tired about halfway through meshing and decided to just cel shade the rest, or not do anything with shading the blue parts of her costume.

I'll most likely do her a second time since I drew her out of proportion a little. When I do, if that's inked and colored like this I'll just cel shade everything instead of fussing with mesh. Illustrator is so hard to use...tell me what you guys think.

That's good for a first try. 3nodding I really like the hair and shirt (*in awe of people who can draw fabric). Also, you did a good job on the coloring of the eyes.

I did the coloring in Illustrator, so it's a little weird compared to what you might normally see. Illustrator colors stuff using [gulp]...MATH. I don't understand really how it works but 50% of the time it can look really nice. The rest of the time it just looks weird though, like on her legs.
