(Buddy? O.o Okaaay....)
It's getting cold, the dark-haired boy thought to himself, I should probably go home....but...I don't want to yet.' He sighed and stared down at the half eaten bowl of ramen in front of himself before pushing it away a few inches and sitting more comfortably in his seat. Another sigh escaped his lips as he glanced over his shoulder towards the streets, the slight smell of moisture clung the the air and then it began to rain. Slowly at first and then harder, it fell to the ground soon flooding the streets...
Sasuke frowned before turning back to his ramen and picking up his chopsticks, fished out a few warm noodles before eating them silently....he was bored and no doubt Kakashi would cancel training today. 'Great', he thought to himself silently and continued to eat slowly...

The short-tempered red haired boy ambled slowly up the dirt road that led into his least favorite of towns. "That boy should be in one of these shops..." he thought to himself. Naturally, he was searching for the one he despised, and yet didn't, Sasuke. Then, a few measley rain drops fell to the earth around Gaara. His sand shot up to keep him from getting wet. Just before he was completely covered, he saw a glimpse of the boy he was searching for in a few shops ahead, eating.
Running to the window, his heart was pounding. He then realized that what he was doing was strange and ducked under the window just as the boy he was stalking turned toward the window.

Sasuke frowned as he thought he saw a familiar head of red hair. Sure, he both hated and liked seeing Gaara. It was odd. Silently he finished in eating his ramen and paid for it quietly before standing and heading for the door...once outside he let the rain fall down upon his pale skin and dark hair. not looking he said calmly, "...You know. If I wasn't as equally disgusted and delighted to see you I'd be worried why your stalking me...." He paused and turned to look at the red head, "...Gaara." He frowned and looked towards the street, "I thought you hated it here...."

"H-how did you know it was me?" Gaara said quietly with great surprise. He let his sand guard fall to the wet ground. There was a slightly malicious look in his eye; one of hunger for blood, and yet lustful of this boy who now stood before him. he turned his head and hoped that he didn't see the wanting stare. He chanced a look upward to see.....

A ghost of a smile showed on Sasuke's lips as he said calmly, "Who else would chance following me in the rain?" He tilted his head to look at Gaara and held out his hand to the other saying softly, "Brave to follow me here Gaara...obviously you have your..."Sasuke grinned slightly and teased, "...reasons. Come, we'll go to my place..." His dark eyes showed almost the exact emotions as Gaara's, he wanted to hurt the redhead but at the same time desired him so much he was tempted to taste the soft lips of Gaara right now...

"Get away from me!" Gaara wanted to shout. Instead, he stared into the hard eyes of his soon-to-be lover and did what he was told. He took Sasuke's hand and let him lead him away.
"Why me? Why us? I hate you. And yet not....." Gaara said. He could feel something writhing deep inside. It wasn't the usual writhing beast, though. This was new. This....this was a want, a need so bad that it hurt too much to walk on his own. At this moment, he was glad to have the support of the dark, mysterious boy leading him into the unknown of a lover's world.

"I was about to say the same....", Sasuke murmured quietly as he noticed Gaara's change in pace. He brought the other's body close to his side, holding the redhead up silently as he said simply, "I like you yet I hate you." He eventually led them to a simple yet fairly large home...on the door was the Uchida clan's symbol. Sasuke paused to brushed a wet strand of red hair from Gaara's face slightly before letting go of the other and opening the door...
