What the hell is with this thing. I had a 300 character long sig before new years and when I tried to change things the thing got so picky that it would only allow one linked banner and one non-linked banner. Makes it hard to show your support of the guilds you are on. *sighs*
Seems Gaia needs a lot of work still.
Anyways, I'm just ranting.

I can understand why they limit the number of characters in the sig, else some people would have so long sig that there would be only one post by page and the rest would be signatures XD
But maybe 255 is a little short. Oh well, I suppose it's because 255 is the highest value when you're in hexa base (don't know the real name in English, sorry).

well until gaia gets their sigs fixed my banners are non-linked for now but I can always go back to the source to update it when necessary
that is a pain in the a**. I THINK the signature was shortened just due to possible lack of space or bandwidth?

I THINK the signature was shortened just due to possible lack of space or bandwidth? I don't know why they shortened it, but I had one over 300 characters not long ago and then when I shortened it by two words it told me my sig was too long. So now I have to keep it short in order to keep the two banners I want to use. *sighs* Gaia has so many bugs it is unreal. It is wasn't for the cute avatars I don't think I would have returned. jaa ne Kat

No real link with the topic but I wish that gaia items could be used by both male and female avatars. I'd like my current avatar to be able to wear the white tux but it's only for male avatars crying I had to create a mule account (which I don't really use XD) with a male avi to be able to wear a white tux. Not faiiiir crying crying crying crying

I've seen some female items used on males. I'm not sure how they do it, but it might be that change the gender of your avatar and you're wearing the items. *shrug* Not like I'll ever change my avatar. I'm High Magus! Not an aquatransexual >.>

I think there is a petition with really funny banners. Stuff like Rina saying "OMG LYK, UR BNR IZ 2 L0NG" and demonic eyes drawn on... immature at best, but it definitely gets the point across. The lack of banner space is so frickin' frustrating; we're not asking for 10 000 words or something... even 500 would be a huge improvement.
Hnn, I should go before I start ranting... personally, I think we should make loads of threads and try and make this issue popular so they'll cave.

I actually like the limit. It's annoying when it cuts me off of course, but I'd rather the limit be in place than not.
I have dial-up internet with no extra boost or anything, so it takes forever for things like clips and blinkies to load sometimes. I like seeing the sigs- some of them are very clever or cute, and they add a flash of personality - but I don't want to spend a year waiting for the page to show up.
