this roleplay is set sometime near the future.

    the whole story in the naruto series is long gone. the hokage mountain can't fit anymore faces on there.

    the legend of naruto still lives on, though. the kid who had the nine-tails fox sealed into him who later on became a fine hokage.


    and died a horrible death.




    now, everything's peaceful.

    until the next generation of the akatsuki organization comes along.
    they are.

    they specialized in hired assassinations, until they rebelled. greedy bastards, they are.
    now, they are feared within the countries, and their current location is unknown. it is rumoured to not be of any existing place.



    the kazekage, rinkusu and raikage, rokiicha, are currently [re: since last year, technically] planning out the overall format of the chuunin exams, to be held in sunagakure. with the help of their respective council members, sukeri and PACHI, the two kage plan to make this exam the best possible.

    PACHI, however, shall also be taking this exam, as he was not ever a chuunin, yet he was promoted to council. he's quite humiliated by the exam, and complains of how he has to go easy on the participants.
