I'm questing, in a slow and meandering fashion, for the Parisian Blue Fan.
4000 tickets down, 16000 to go!

Well, I went on a grand "use up all my tokens" visit to the slots & now have 4927 tickets.
And no tokens--until, of course, gaia's daily chance nets me some more wink

Daily Chance is so useful sometimes. It greatly depreciates the value of ink, which irks me, but it's useful in all other respects.

I was saving up tickets for one of those, but I sold them all for my quest. smile It's not a bad way to make money, actually, if you don't mind spending the time playing Cards. You can buy the tokens for 1g, and I was selling tickets for almost 3g. Not that you want to sell them, I'm just babbling. wink But I do like that you can get them from the Daily Chance. I haven't gotten anything big from it, but the gold, tokens, inks, and fish bait do add up!

Well, see, the thing is that you only make so much on Gaia per day with the new system. So much for posting, then you only get one per post. Same with every other feature. It is good to play cards for a while when all that is done.

I prefer slots to cards, personally. I never got the knack to cards. Then again, I've only played like twice, and I didn't read the instructions, so that may be why. n.n"

LOL--yeah, not reading instructions does tend to complicate matters.
Unless, that is, they are computer-translated instructions for MP3's from Japan: "The following is not by way of total elucidation." We thought that pretty well summed up the entire booklet.

The Vorpal Tom ... it's blackjack... It's not that hard, is it? Yeah, but I didn't know I could cheat or whatever until, like, half an hour after I started playing, when I started wondering why there was a weird button or meter or something somewhere.

Thanks to all who gave tokens! I really do appreciate it smile
I got to around 6000 tickets... and then gaia came out with those really nice fans in the store, and, well, I like them better. I thought about continuing on the hunt, just because, but... I haven't razz
So, I guess I'll hang onto the tickets, just in case. Or maybe sell them to help pay for the other fan. I'm not sure.
Anyway, this quest is now officially cancelled.

I thought the same thing when I saw the new fans. smile If you were to sell the tickets, you could probably get 16k-17k at least.
