Smoothies are really tasty, especially in the summer. You don't have to use ice cream or whole milk, contrary to popular belief. Low-fat yogurts, frozen yogurts, and skim milk work just fine. Throwing in equal parts berries, bananas, and slices of citrus fruits make it extremely tasty. Try combinations with your favorites.

Plain unsalted nuts are a yummy alternative when you're craving something crunchy. Pine nuts and almonds are my favourite but any nut will do, they are full of fiber and heart-healthy oils.

It sounds crazy, but Arrowroot cookies, the same ones you give to a teething baby.

Veggie sticks

Air popped pop corn without butter or salt

Instead of tea or coffee, hot water with some honey and lemon in it. Not only does it taste good, but it's amazingly good for you and works as a sore throat remedy. wink

Ummm.
For those Veggie Sticks.
Stay away from Carrots.
They are FULL of sugar..
Not good. stressed
Umm.. I like smoothies and fruits for snacks.
But, I do have chips some times. ;o;

Yogurt, granola bars..depends on which ones though, cause some really aren't all that good for you it seems. o.x And whatever fruit we have around the house..which usually consists of bananas, apples, and strawberries. I occassionally have the good stuff too...candy, chips, etc, so long as I do so in moderation. ^^'

I have a question.
I LOVE pickles, and theyre fat free and have few calories, but will the sodium content cause me to retain more water?

I really like snacking on cucumber slices when I've got the munchies. They're mostly water so its really nothing, I think. You can add some low-cal or fat free dressing to dip it in if you want, too.
Also, oranges! Especially when you need something sweet. They're cheap and easy to get at.

That's my new favorite thing to eat- cucumbers. Slice them thin and put some black pepper on them...oh man! So tasty!

I really like the Cracked Black Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits. I think they are fairly healthy. A serving size is 6. I'll eat one, wait a few minutes, then eat another...doing that fills me up faster, for some reasons. Sometimes I won't even eat all 6.

I thought it was ok to eat carrots because the sugar was natural. That's interesting.
I know yogurt, most fruit types like grapefruit and oranges are good, celery sticks. That's all I can think of right now.

Oco'co'co's

Strange name. xd I found them at a healthfood store. No preservatives or anything, and perfect for your little chocolate cravings. There's a huge punch of chocolate-y taste, and each bag has 90 calories. Not something you should eat every day, but when I really crave it, it's there. (Tucked away at the back of my cupboard. razz Begone, temptation!)

Sugar free jell-o! OMG SO GOOD. Go get some right now! xD

Baby carrots - 40 cals for 14 of them!

Graham crackers, maybe?

Hm, I can't think of much else right now. >_<

OH! Apple shavings! Take an apple, and one of those things you use to skin carrots. Shave the skin off into a garbage (because the skin usually has all sorts of pesticides and wax on it, if the apple isn't organic) and then shave the apple into thin little...well...shavings.

It's yummy and healthy, and the best part is it takes a while to eat! That way, you can eat it slowly and still feel content that you're eating something, rather than eating one whole by biting into it (which would take less than half the time, I'm sure).

I have those too!
We buy them at Costco, so we have about 40 bags in my house XD.
Theyre actually fairly healthy.

We have some sort of air popped wheat/potato snacks in my house.
Theyre delicious, and only 90 calories in 2 cups! Ill find the name.
