Hmm. Did you know, drinking a cold glass of water burns up 30 calories! Because your body burns the calories to make the water warmer. How cool is that? And the fact that drinking water will make your body feel like it is full. Soda just makes some people more thirsty, water is cheap, and good for you. razz

This should be like the random food fact topic. liiiike.... celery has negative calories. it takes more calories to chew and eat than it gives you.

More negative calorie foods? Vegetables: Fennel, aubergine, gourd, broccoli, leek, cabbage, lettuce, carrots, marrow, cauliflower, peppers, celery, radish, chicory, spinach, cress, tomato, cucumber, turnip. Fruits: Apricot, mandarin orange, blackberry, melon canteloupe, blackcurrant, peaches, clementines, plums, damsons, raspberry, grapefruit, rhubarb, guava, strawberry, honeydew melon, tangerine, lemon, watermelon. Why negative calorie foods might not be worth the hype.Um, honey is the only food that never rots?

uhm... adding onto the first post...drink a cold glass of water everyday for a year and you'll lose over one pound sweatdrop all i can think of now =]

Actually...that's not true. No one is quite sure how it got started, but it is a myth. You'll be a b***h because you can.

Digestion is already calculated into your daily caloric needs, so techincally all foods would have less calories than they seem to if you factor in the energy taken to digest them. Umm...i believe if you drink a glass of green tea everyday for a year you can lose up to 10 pounds. It speeds up your metabolism like mad!
