Syrhen's amber eyes searched the streets below her as she sat perched on top of one of the tall city buildings. The museum was just across the street, and it being shorter than her current position, it wouldn't be a problem jumping down onto the roof. Sheikh was gently wrapped around her shoulders, peering at the streets below. "Ready Sheikh?" Syrhen asked her. Sheikh licked the air with her tongue and nodded slowly. "Ok, hang on.." Syrhen stood and backed up a about 2 yards, Sheikh wrapping herself around Syrhen so she was secure. Then, Syrhen dashed forward and jumped off the building with a quick backflip or 2. As she hit the roof, she rolled to soften the fall. "You ok Sheikh?" she asked in a whisper. Sheikh nodded. "Good. Now, let's find a way in.." Syrhen searched the rooftop and found a vent that probably brought air in from outside. "Perfect." she smirked, and went to work opening the vent.

((Hmm..still no other roleplayers confused scream ))

Syrhen dropped into one of the many halls of the museum. On her way through the vents she'd come across the security room; it had been quite easy for her to knock out the guards inside, drop in, and shut off all alarms, cameras, and security systems. She ran through the halls easily with nothing blocking her way. She came to a stop in the midle of a new hall,"Hey, Sheikh, go patrol the halls while I get what we came for." Sheikh obeyed and slithered off down another hallway into the darkness. Syrhen ran down 5 long hallways, she counted, knowing the way to her destination. She finally stopped in front of the valuable art piece she'd been seeking: "The Serpent's Eye." "Heheh, found you." With no security tonight, and know special alarms working, it was an easy goal..but quite boring in her opinion. "The Serpent's Eye" was properly named: A snakes head carved of black marble, a ruby the size of a bouncy-ball sat in place of the right eye(I know, but I couldn't think of anything else to compare it to xp ), the head the size of 2 computer mice. Syrhen removed the glass casing, gently picked up the statue, in placed it in her back pack, and yes she did have one when she came in.

Sidewinder was working his way into a museum, but for some reason none of the security he had expected to be in place was working. Something just wasn't right. Using extreme caution he proceeded into the museum and down the maintenance foyer. After the second door on the right there was a hallway which he slowly peered around the corner to check out. way down at the other end he noticed some movement in the display room of The Sepent's Eye. A jewel which would set him up for quite a while if he could get it and get out of this place without getting caught. Staying low and against the left side wall he worked his way down the hall being extremely cautious. Once at the end he could hear someone in the room to his left and needed to find out who it was. He layed down on the floor and peeked around the corner with one eye and couldn't beleive what he saw. Standing there was another person on the far side of the room away from him admiring The Serpent's Eye. Upon further scrutiny, he realized that it was a young woman which he had the pleasure of meeting in his travels. It was Syrhen, The daughter of one of his Masters from several years back. Not wanting to be killed and knowing there was no way he was going to get that jewel from her without one of them dying, he resorted to giving up on the idea of stealing it and just helping her get out of there safely. He stood up and walked around the corner, and with a soft voice said, " I did'nt know they bred assassins to be so pretty". He used to say that to her when she was a little girl. He knew she would know who he was right away.

Syrhen grinned at the familiar voice as she straightened up and turned around. "And what's a cowboy like you doing in a big city like this?" she asked. Sheikh slithered past him as she returned from scouting.

I replied,"the same as you are, but you are younger and beat me to the punch". Then with ecitement i said, "Let's save the reunion till we get out of here", " Man it's good to see you, we have so much catching up to do". Then I motioned to leave and said, " Let's get out of here before someone realizes we're here". I started towards the hallway and paused to see if Syrhen was coming.

"Don't worry, I took out the guards. And security's down.." Syrhen was only a few feet behind him. Though she wore boots, she moved silently through the halls like a snake. "Besides, I need to take the same way I came in.." Sheikh made her way up Syrhen's leg and up to her shoulders as she spoke.

"Then we can both get out here the way you came in so you can reactivate all of the security systems." Sidewinder felt a little uneasy about the situation, but he trusted Syrhen. Stepping to the side Sidewinder says, " Lead the way!" and steps in behind Syrhen to follow her out of the museum. Amazed at the advancement in knowledge which Syhren had picked up since he last saw her he quietly follows her lead.

"Reactivating the security system won't take much. I've planted a tiny divice in their main computer so that all have to do is press a button and it'll start back up again once I'm out of here. It won't even look like I was here..." After a brisk walk Syrhen finally found the air vent she come through. "You sure you can fit through there?" She asked Sidewinder.
PostPosted: Sun Feb 11, 2007 5:26 pm

*sidewinder gave an evil glare to her* They don't call me sidewinder for nothing. It was a very snug fit, but I was able to just get through the vent. I was going to get out that vent if my life depended on it. For some reason, I had a feeling it did! It was a good thing that I covered my tracks on the way in or when Syrhen reactivated the security system we would both be in a big mess. We both made it onto the roof and then I turned to her and said, "ok, lead the way" and then brushed off the dust and grime I picked up on my clothes going through the vent. I have a sneaking feeling that she was going to try and lose me over the rooftops of the buildings, but I had to stay with her to find out what she had been up to for the last 10 years.

Once she'd placed the vent grating back in place and reactivated the security, Syrhen smirked and ran over to the nearest fire escape, which happened to be on the other side of large alley. She raced up the steps at break-neck speed, making her way to the roof top.

Hey! Wait for me. I guess it's going to be a game of cat and mouse then. He hears a distant evil laugh. I knew it, I can't even trust my friends! Sidewinder pulls on his ninja masks and gives a low evil snicker. He then says to himself, " Bring it on little girl, I know this city like the back of my hand". Sidewinder burst off like a jack-rabbit on steroids, and bolts up the stair case like it never existed, then springs up next to Syhren. He extends his left hand and replies, "my lady, the games await".

"Sorry. But I grew up doing this, and I'm gonna be late. My target is across the city and he's way past due.." Syrhen ran off the edge of the roof, diving down to the street. With a quick motion, she flipped around, aimed a special grappling hook at the building across the street, and fired. The grapnel attached firmly to the roof and Syrhen swung quickly over to a new building. Once she landed, she dropped down into an allyway and quickly threw on a new outfit as she ran. As she exited the ally, she slowed to a walking pace and blended into the night crowd, Sheikh hidden in her pack which had switched to a handbag.
