Hello and welcome to our dear, belovéd game's first Anniversary. It seems you have stumbled upon the writing contest. Let me explain to you what it's all about.
As you should have come to realize, The Sniper Game is home to many users. It's a special place where we can all come together and feel welcome (most days), while playing the intense game that we all live (and die) for.
This contest is about expressing how much you appreciate this game, and what The Sniper Game truly means to you. You can write a poem, an essay, a story, anything. Be as creative as you wish.

Rules:
1. Please, only one entry per person. More than one entry is complicated, and also unfair to others in the contest.
2. Along with that, only one vote per person. This is also to keep it fair for everyone involved. (You can vote for yourself, but keep in mind that this is a contest to find out whose piece is the best, which may not always be your own.)
3. Please do not post any inappropriate material. This includes anything mentioned in the ToS that's not allowed.
4. Don't post saying which piece is yours. In order for people to remain unbiased towards a certain piece of work, all applicants must remain anonymous.
5. By submitting your work, you are giving me permission to remove your name from the piece for the viewing period. This means you will not get credit until all the votes have been counted and the contest is over.
6. Please do not vote until all submissions have been received and I inform everyone that it is time to vote.
7. Please read the instructions on how to enter or vote in the next post before entering or voting.

How to Enter and Vote:
How to Enter:
To enter, please send your piece of writing to the mule I have created for this event, Writing_Mule. After you enter, I'll post your submission anonymously under the submissions, and then send you a PM to let you know that I got and posted your piece, and I'll also tell you your entry number. This is so you don't have to find it yourself, and also to make sure I've done my job correctly. If there are any problems with the piece I have submitted under the number I give you, please let me know right away so it can be fixed. (Because everyone screws up sometimes.)
Please send your piece by 10pm EST on the February 3rd, 2007.
How to Vote:
After I have posted the last received piece of work, I'll announce that it is time to vote. At this time, you should make sure you have read all of the submitted works, and then send a PM to Writing_Mule saying which entry number you would like to vote for. This is to ensure that people are (hopefully) not using multiple accounts to vote, making it fair for the participants.
Please vote by 6pm EST on February 4th, 2007, so I may announce the winners before the end of the event. At this time, I will put the names of all the participants on their works, because they deserve credit too.

Another night, another death This one was kind of gory The zombies got a tasty snack At the end of the night's story Someone here is quite SUSPICIOUS I heard you are the sniper! Oh wait, no...maybe...um... Maybe I'M the sniper!!! Oh paint these walls, I command thee This prison's going up! Though I'd stay away from Nympie's cell I hear she's kind of nuts Treachery, lies and murder Paranoia, all in fun We'll still be friends when this is over And return for the next one! Entry #2 Gather around now, I shall tell ye a tale. Come with your caffeine Or maybe your ale. Gather around now, I shall share this with you. A tale of a game, And of these killers two. One who is sneaky And carries a gun. One who is crazy And kills just for fun. They’ll sneak into town And kill just one each. And they’re hard to get rid of. Just like a leech. For blood-thirsty they are, And they’ll never stop. ‘Til all in the town, Fall over dead, *plop*. The town’s lonely jail, And the G-Team as well. Are all that stand between, These killers and hell- Breaking loose, Panic spread like disease. Killers hide with evil grins. As no one feels at ease. One way or another, With some lost on the way. Ohh I really want to enter this contest, but I can't control the when and what about factors when I get in a writing mood. T___T
Plus all my stories are either depressing or violent. I'm no good at expressing happiness or love towards something/someone in a story.
I might try if I get in the mood though.
Just a question - how long can the story be?
